@Cajun72If you are using a modem, it would be straightforward to connect directly to it and diagnose the issue. If you observe similar results, it is likely that your internet service provider (ISP) is experiencing problems or that something has been damaged and requires repair. Additionally, you can review the modem logs if you have a significant number of uncorrectable errors, as this can provide further evidence of an issue.

That was probably for the R3 or referring to a cloud update for the R2. I don't have an ETA on any R2 firmware currently. I think the focus right now is on the BI/ACC feature and then hopefully an R2 firmware can be done

@Cajun72Actually I take back what I said it seems like you can't change regions so your basically stuck on region locks which of course means if your on an area that has zero players or low amount of players the servers would be in short dead. I believe this will be fixed but the only alternative at the moment would be using a vpn to change regions. There have been users in other regions complaining about that as asia servers are dead at the moment.

If it doesn't work for you, it's not as simple as CoD to filter, seems they're using proxies/relays so may take longer to get working on our end.

Probably a reboot from the interface should do it. If it continues could you try Firefox or another browser and see if you see the same please?

@Cajun72What am asking is if you hear your mic audio back when your monitoring voice? Have you tried other games or is it Fortnite specifically that your having the issue….

Someone said this "At the bottom of the audio settings there will be voice chat option, turn it off and apply and then turn it back on and apply. You may need to do it a few times" worked for them

@Cajun72So can you communicate with people on your own platform? Might be your mic are you checking whether it outputting/monitoring mic audio?

If they can hear you at all even faintly then I wouldn't have thought it'd be a network issue, is there voice volume on Fortnite you can maybe adjust to be louder?

@Cajun72Fortnite is known for having chat issues you can try switching chats on the menu options from everyone back and forth sometimes that works.. though back then there was such a bug that would prevent users from chatting and knowing how buggy fortnite keeps becoming I ain't shocked that old bugs keep reappearing like we still have issues with reload animations and fall damage and then you have game breaking glitches that certain users abuse.
To clarify I am referring to the game voice chat if your trying to join an actual party chat you'll need to either manually allow the servers or simply disable geofilter and re-enable after

I would have thought it would be the Geo-Filter, is your son able to hear your BIL? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu does it work then?

Do the test with the cursors (that's the whole point), but indeed I think your line in ul is not very stable (if you are not sending files at the time of the test without the buffer)!

Having an FTTP line remains a line shared between several ISP users... so it can suffer from saturation depending on the hours! Like adsl, FTTLa, FTTH etc...

Bufferbloat happens when all your bandwidth is being used so if you had a situation where that normally would have occurred then yes, if not then it would play normally. Essentially it ensures that you'll never have any lag caused by other devices.
As above if that's with literally nothing happening on the network then it could indicate a line issue, or it could be your far away from the server used for the test.
