Apex legends will not work with Geo Filter
Netduma Fraser replied to sikpup's topic in Netduma R1 Support
A factory reset definitely should have fixed this. Did you have a device manually added to the feature that you've either deleted, renamed or done something with in Settings? If you reconnect that device/give it the old name then it should work again. -

If you're referring to Warzone we haven't tested it yet, is anything appearing blocked when you get a host? It really depends on what your settings are so would suggest making a topic and we can go more in depth there. -

What does the ping say on the Geo-Filter? - That is a true ping to the server. The in game ping includes things like processing delay etc which all games have, if this is really high then it indicates the server is under load. -

No worries, we'll do that as soon as we can and get a cloud out! -

It's already got a server that is whitelisted there that should be preventing the booting. Do you see anything blocked when you get kicked? You'd have to look very quickly in order to catch it. -

Best way to double check is to use Ping Assist or switch to Spectating Mode and see if you can get put on it. If you find it is mislocated please put it in the form and we'll be able to update the cloud to fix it. -

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing currently please just so I can determine what may be happening. -
We'll make an official signup closer to the time but people are using this topic as an informal signup thread for now: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29487-announcement-the-future-of-dumaos-version-30

Hey, welcome to the forum! Routerlogin.net is a local URL used as an alternative to access the interface instead of the LAN IP. As it is a local URL it cannot be accessed using the internet - if you try to connect to it using a non Netgear router it will redirect to an internet URL instead. You can disable Auto Updates from Settings > Administration. Do you still have the original issue?

Apex legends will not work with Geo Filter

The servers that appeared before the cloud update, are they still the ones that appear when the issues that occur or are there new ones? If there are new ones could you input them in the form please and we'll correct them in the next update. Meanwhile probably best to use Spectating Mode to ensure you're not getting booted. -

Could you just double check this is the case please after flusing the cloud in the Geo-Filter Map options? If the too long message appears just wait a minute then refresh the page and it will have applied. -

With testing and some of us working from home we haven't been able to get one out this week. I'll ask Alex when it's likely to happen now. -
I've just seen you're on the XR500 which means this topic is not applicable to you. You can find updates for the XR500 here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx or you can go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update and click check on the interface to see if a new one is available. I'll answer your question here but f you have any furth tech support questions please make a new topic and we can go from there. You cannot prevent other players from joining the server you are playing on, it isn't possible. If you don't want to use the Geo-Filter simply switch it from Filtering to Spectating mode or delete the device from the Geo-Filter.

There will likely not be a fix until our next firmware version DumaOS 3.0 is released but I couldn't say when that would be, we want to do a beta soon. Meanwhile you can change the DNS on the router to the VPN DNS or use a VPN Client if using for the PC.

I'm hoping it will be this week coming! -
Hey, welcome to the forum! How have you added the device you wanted it applied to on the VPN Traffic Panel? How are you testing if it is working?

Hybrid VPN UNO PC Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Leo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That may be the DNS leak, we will be fixing that for 3.0 and we'll be adding more providers as well in the future. Your welcome, let us know if you have any more issues/questions. -
We're really busy testing the next firmware this week so it may not be until next week.

Hybrid VPN UNO PC Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Leo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I think you can continue adding 80/443 if you run into issues on said devices, no need to add it for every one if it isn't causing a problem. I found them here: https://portforward.com/uno/ I gave you the PS4 ports, even though it is on PC the ports may not be the only ones it uses so it may be worth adding the ports from the other platforms that you're missing and see if that helps. That'll be because 80/443 are not going through the VPN. That is certainly a viable option if it works, I can't see any specific issues here that would cause it to not work. You could try a blanket rule 1-65535 TCP/UDP src & dst to see if it works that way. -

Yes you're right, disregard that sorry, I confused myself! Yes that is fine, I've just found some extra ports that you don't have but should be required for UNO, try these the same way you've done the others and see if it works. TCP: 1935,3478-3480 UDP: 3074,3478-3479,3658,4646 -

It's more because those ports are required for all devices to work correctly online. Do you have another VPN provider you could try with or contact the provider to see if they block any specific ports? It seems more like the provider if the same process you use works for the other games but not this one.
