  1. That’s when I last used the Duma. I was a faithful customer since the very beginning, and I was very thankful they took care of my previous problems - but I just couldn’t deal with it not working anymore.
  2. Been a while since I’ve poked around - router is currently in a box unused. Any updates that I may have missed?
  3. So am I done with Netduma since the beginning or, can we expect a fix? While I’d love to say it doesn’t matter that I’m not using the router, I can’t feel a real difference in the servers I am connecting to. This is the longest I’ve gone without the router in almost 7 years. I need a realistic timeframe on an update, beginning to lose patience a bit. And I’m someone who keeps patience here.
  4. They updated the post - downgrading didn’t work for me when I tried either.
  5. This is exactly how my kid described things for me - it was sporadic with a friend here and a friend there and then they all got the update and he could no longer connect. Returned error 0x8923103D
  6. I have a post on this elsewhere but wanted to let you know what I showed Fraser here too: Microsoft is phasing out peer to peer party chat and parties, and going SERVER based to prevent DDOS attacks by capturing your IP through the old system. I suspect that the recent XBOX update that rolled out (or those of us in the beta program, we had this problem longer) is causing this to be more widespread. This is per a dev on Reddit I don’t doubt that the DUMA team can’t remedy this, but I’m hoping it’s sooner rather than later because I disconnected my R1 for the moment.
  7. I did unplug it, I was resetting my modem. I’ll make sure I go through the interface next time. But don’t forget it was a power failure the last one, my generator didn’t kick in because it flickered. That’s probably the issue.
  8. I rebooted as I like to reboot everything from time to time, and that’s when it assigned IP’s out of range again. I couldn’t get it sorted until a factory reset. So strange. Could’ve been a coincidence on timing unless it’s a lease issue?
  9. Had to factory reset AGAIN last night. So strange.
  10. Eh but still - would it assign an IP out of the range of what it’s set? Was completely different. I felt like the power outage half made a factory reset. Was strange.
  11. Maybe I mis-spoke, I use the reservation feature set by MAC address, but only for the two Xbox’s. This is the R1 I was sent as a replacement over the summer. Was definitely strange and I sorted it out, just posted this as a “hey this happened” type thing lol I also noticed that the wired ports showed as “offline” during this time was well when viewed in the devices pane.
  12. So my power went out a few times yesterday, I noticed my Xbox wouldn’t connect (it’s wired). I have static IP’a set by MAC address, but for whatever reason I couldn’t connect to the dashboard via wired from my laptop on my set IP range (192.168.1.1). My Xbox was assigned an ip out of the range, in this case 192.168.0.223 My setup as a refresher is modem -> netduma R1 -> Airport Extreme (for wireless) I could access the dashboard wirelessly through my phone though. I set the ip to the factory one and refreshed my laptop connection to try to access the dashboard - no dice. Still kept assigning incorrect IP’s on Xbox and laptop. I factory reset and changed all my connections back to what they were, assigned static IP’s and I’m good to go again. Definitely a strange one and something I’ve never had happen before - any thoughts? My power flickered is a better explanation - my generator never even had a chance to come on
