I use IPVanish, works well unless i decide to change server. It’s like the settings get locked in memory. The only thing that would fix it was a factory restart. -

The silence can create rumors and false speculation, but I’ve come the conclusion that the NetDuma support team has been instructed not respond to this thread for the simple fact of not knowing when it will be ready. Saying anything at this point would not help the situation but just fuel the disappointment even further. My advice for all those waiting, for your sanity’s sake, just forget about asking or posting anything on this thread. When the DumaOS is ready, you will know, it’s not something that’s going to fly underneath the radar. If I were in NetDumas shoes I would’ve given the customers updates throughout the delay, but unfortunately that ship has sailed long time ago. All we really can do now is be patient and hope for the best.

I hear you, its a hit or miss sometimes but its more playable than on a low ping server

Lag comp is real my friend, ping is not king. A stable connection definitely helps but if the games net code adjusts to a player with bad internet to even the playing field, this is called lag compensation. IWs connection was way more consistent than WW2s, this I can agree to. Never needed a sweet spot for my ping in IW.
-
Yup, I can confirm that a ww2 has a sweet spot when it comes to ping. I was pinging to servers in California at 15ms and experienced that I would get melted and have no reaction time 9 out of 10 times. So I experimented with other server locations that would give me a ping of 80 to 100ms and I would noticed the hit detection also was bad. Finally I found a server that pings 45-50ms and hit reg is finally acceptable 9 out of 10 times. Every now and then a will still feel horrible but I believe it has a lot to do with the players in lobby and how the game balances out the lag compensation. Play around with different servers with your geo filter until you find a server that is 40-50ms and share your results! Hope it works for anyone who tries this method...

Cloud - Incorrect Server Locations
Madman replied to Netduma Fraser's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
I have a friend who shows incorrect locations of friends when trying to whitelist through the allow and deny system. He has the XR500, what could be causing this? -
