Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 6, 2015 Your Netduma should already be compatible with BOPs 3 but we have added some improvements to the Geo-filter Cloud to make it even better. Please keep in mind it will take up to 4 hours from me posting this thread for the changes to take effect. Instructions 1. Access your Netduma interface using a browser e.g. Chrome by typing in 192.168.88.1 2. Go to >Settings >Miscelleanous 3. Scroll down to the section titled 'Cloud Settings' 4. Tick 'Enable Cloud' and 'Bleeding Edge Cloud' (so both boxes are ticked) 5. Click the red 'Apply Cloud Settings' box If you are getting a 'strict' or 'moderate' NAT then make sure your Geo-filter is disabled when you boot up the game. You can then enable it when you enter matchmaking. This issue is only happening in some regions we will do our best to resolve this permanently asap. We need your help The Geo-filter uses the world's most accurate database of IP address locations, but it's not perfect so whenever a new game launches we need to manually update the Cloud for any incorrectly located IP addresses. This is where you come in. Please look out for these two things: 1. You are on a server close to your home but the ping is very high >120ms; or 2. You are on a server far away from your home but the ping is very low If this happens, click on the server's circle on your Geo-filter and post the ID in this thread along with your location in the world. An ideal post would be: Server ID: 76893d0826157075 Server location: Mid US Ping: 25ms My location: UK We will update for the Cloud for these IDs to make the Geo-filter optimised for BOPs. It still shows up now but i guess it won't be a problem for people not using the google DNS?

Codester
Xbox One users should add UDP 3075 & 3076 to their port forward list. BO3 uses them and will give you a moderate NAT and sometimes the UPnP will not open them.

XmasTeaTowel
Hey Lads.... In Australia, playing Hardcore... We get a matchmaking server in the middle of the US. it is not always allowed by default. So with geo on, simply won't find a game. If I manually always allow it on actively looking for a game (multiple in the same location) and then enable geo... It's fine. Unsure about core/matchmaking.. But everytime as a hardcore search atm. Ping is OK.
oldmategm
can confirm what XmasTeaTowel is saying from Australia. For me it is worst in our day time and all the host rings within the selected geofilter just disappear hence no games found. Night time seems to be ok, but the matchmaking server is in the middle of the US that it still tries and connects too but comes up with the orange triangle. It also seems to hinder joining friends lobbies as if the duma is saying they are out of the geofilter or something, disable the duma and can join any friends lobby but then it wants me to play overseas. XmasTeaTowel
All local players in game and lobby from the above, duma pings 30ms.. In game menu pings 60ms... Works perfect with my geofilter on now, as I have this personal always allow list... But yeah, hope this makes it easier to identify the server farm that's causing us Aussies grief. oldmategm
Hey teatowel now you have added them to your allow list are you running the geofilter in strict mode?
XmasTeaTowel
No strict mode. Did just try it but hangs a bit on matchmaking and/or lose connection to xbox live. Also fell to peer to peer twice. Working well otherwise. Still seeing some blocked servers in the same location briefly before it switches to one i have allowed. So theres more to add... oldmategm
ok have added a few of the random hosts when I see them, this one I done a trace on seems to be the most common tonight. That host in South Australia must be a dedi hey?
r8rs4lf
This one getting past the GEO filter. Located in SoCal. Same one again except it allowed me to rate. Same host, but I moved my home as you can see and still being allowed through the GEO filter. Not able to rate. Yet another allowed through the GEO. I blocked it. See if that works. Located in SoCal. Waited for screen to clear, moved my home and another host gets past the GEO filter. Unable to rate. Actually this is the same host from above that allowed me to rate which I blocked and it's still getting past the GEO filter. It seems like the filter is doing its job somewhat because it's not allowing other hosts past it. It's only these ones located in SoCal that are getting through. Those are the two being allowed past the GEO filter over and over again. I've been at this for over an hour and I can't get away from either of these hosts no matter where I place my home and still haven't got a damn game because its shoot first, die first with those two hosts. And just to show, here are my settings.
