JustKingRuslan
Hello I've had my Netduma R2 now for a few months since I wanted a gaming router and a better speed. I sometimes have my internet go out randomly on my phone and computer. Doesnt matter what im doing its always cuts out and I got to unplug it. I tried some other methods that were posted such as changing static IP to 168. I also installed a file that was posted but it seems to do nothing. I also have a problem when im playing a game. Such as for example in CSGO when im playing on any server I get random ping spikes such as this one below. And it stays this way for 30 sec then goes back to normal it can go as high as 500 from what ive seen then goes back to a normal 15-40 ping. I have yet to find what is causing this and how to fix it please help!
BIG__DOG
Hi and welcome. Is this happening over wifi or ethernet? I know your phone is wifi but are there any ethernet devices loosing connectivity also?
Netduma Liam
Welcome to the forum! Good question above. Do you mean you've set the DHCP Lease time to 168 hours? If not please go ahead and do that in Network Settings -> LAN -> DHCP

Netduma Liam
OK great, what model is your ISP modem? Do you have access to it's interface? If so, can you please use it to set a static IP for the R2?

I tried to login to my modem but there is no option to change the static IP.

I don't think that would cause this specific issue but worth a try. 25 minutes ago, JustKingRuslan said: I have a motorola D.3 modem. Disable IPv6 in WAN and LAN on the R2 please. Also what firmware version are you on? (You can check from the top right of the interface). If you're not on .179 I would recommend upgrading to that and then doing a factory reset and it should be better. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/33236-announcement-new-r2-firmware-30179/

With the factory rest I'll update and turn off IPv6 soon. But I already had it happened once today morning
