Newfie
What channels having this issue, ie 2.4 or 5Ghz? under WiFi setting check 5Ghz that the mode is set to HT80 which is 2165. if this is set correctly perform a factory reset and set up as new and test again. Do not use a saved profile when setting up again.

Newfie
Have you performed a reset yet? that’s a good starting point.
Netduma Liam
Good advice above! I would also suggest enabling MU-MIMO and monitoring the results before factory resetting.

djhixson88
Do you have AX enabled? If so try disabling it. I had the same problem VVarrior
DimeRider27
I had a similar issue yesterday when we returned home from my sons hockey game. All wifi was down, lights were lit as if nothing was wrong but no connection on either 2.4 or 5ghz. I unplugged and replied and everything came back. Just kind of annoying if I have to do that every week. I don’t think I restarted my AirPort Extreme twice in the 5-7 years I owned it.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 13, 2020 As above, try disabling AX and see if it is any better please. VVarrior
DimeRider27
Is this something that will be fixed in an update or is this going to be a regular thing?
Newfie
If it’s WiFi drivers it will be NG that require to update their side. As it’s based on the RAX50 which has WPA3 and I believe the XR1000 does not yet if someone could confirm that, it means the firmware behind Duma is not the same as the RAX50 which seems fairly stable reading people views on SNB. Sorry to hear that! If you disable SmartConnect and join the 5GHz channel, do you see any improvement?
headstruck
I can confirm that this is still happening, with and without AX being enabled. I'm going to attempt to disable Smart Connect and manually join the 5GHz channel as suggested by @Netduma Liam - I'll reply back here with the results! Edit: I will also note that MU-MIMO has no difference either. Netduma Fraser

Mi6300m
I've tried all that before. I wrote a post having issues about this a couple of months ago. Also has a PM discussion with you about it before. I recently wrote you again about another issue as well. @Netduma Fraser
Mi6300m
These settings for me are the most stable...but still have devices like my eufyVac, Google Nest Hub, and sometimes my Note10+5G drop: Where I have the major issues is when smart connect is on (which i'd like to actually use) the eufyvac and nest hub doesn't even connect at all. and 2 of my Roku Stick+ devices drop wifi constantly. headstruck

Whatever beta testing I can do to help with this sign me up. I like this router, but the OS is becoming troublesome. Iambeejsmit
