Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 27, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! Are you referring to the NAT Type in the console network settings or the NAT reading on a game?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2020 Have you put the R2 in the DMZ of your ISP modem?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2020 Disable the Geo-Filter and then it should show as open.
Moray
How? i don't have the geofilter even turned on at all Edit: my console is set to Spectating mode, since geo filter is irrelevant where i live
RedBull2k
For your PC, your R2 is a new network you need to configure firewall of the PC. To quickly show you this, just disable firewall on the PC, and fire up your game. For console, you may need to disbale QOS then Fire up the game then enable QOS. Let us know how you get on. @Moray @Netduma Fraser

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 30, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 30, 2020 Assuming your NAT Type stays open on PS4, on the PC go to the Windows Game settings and do the connection test, when it fails click fix it and then it should work. I found other inconsistant things with qos. You can get both PC and PS4 on open nat it can at times take some fiddling. I managed to do it. If you would like to DM you can. SachsenPowl
If you got the answer to solve this, you can write it here. Cuz i have also open nat on psn, but moderate nat on ps4 (r2 is exposed-host/dmz from isp)

SachsenPowl
Yep, in PSN NAT Typ 2 - but in CoD MW it shows NAT moderate... UPnP is enabled... I think i can achieve OpenNAT in CoD if i manually add every rule for port forwarding, but first i tryed the easy way

If you disable the Geo-Filter before launching the game it may say open, if it does then definitely a misreading, otherwise yes port forwarding should sort that or putting into R2 DMZ. SachsenPowl
I opend every single Port Manually in my AiO Router+Modem and now my NAT is Open... Sadly my R2 is already as Exposed-Host/DMZ in my AiO -.- Such a crap-company, but now i can enjoy my new Netduma Tech-Toy ^^

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2020 Most likely the IP for the console or the R2 changed, reserve the IPs and then re-enter them and then you should be fine going forward.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 19, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2020 Right I'm just going to give you all the options you need to do for an open NAT so you can check if they're correct: ISP Modem/router Set a static/reserved IP for the R2 Use Bridge, Modem, IP Passthrough or the DMZ feature for the R2 using the reserved IP or router MAC address - If those options aren't available or don't work port forward 1-65535 SRC/DST TCP/UDP to R2 Disable UPnP/Port forwarding Disable Firewall R2 Set a static/reserved IP for the console in DHCP Use UPnP, Port forwarding or DMZ for the console Disable Geo-Filter entirely
