stubarru Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Running Netflix plus the Xbox last night and it's done the same again now so I have taken another print screen of the log if that helps
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 20, 2018 Administrators Posted November 20, 2018 Thanks a lot, I've passed this on to the devs.
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted November 20, 2018 Administrators Posted November 20, 2018 Do you have loads of devices connected? Can you take a screenshot of your device-manager please
stubarru Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Evening Please find attached my device list. As I have stated I only have problems when heavy downloading using Netflix and gaming. I am currently sharing excess for both download and upload. My current set up has a 5ghz router connected to the R1 for wifi and my PC and Xbox one connected wired straight the the R1. I am considering getting the XR500 as perhaps I'm asking too much of the R1. One slightly off topic question, under Anti Bufferbloat what is Goodput?? Could not find it in the help center Look forward to hearing from you Stuart
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 21, 2018 Administrators Posted November 21, 2018 I'll let devs know so they can respond. You can see information about goodput in the Anti-Bufferbloat options help icon. Also if you disable then enable it, it will give you some more information.
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted November 22, 2018 Administrators Posted November 22, 2018 The log message is stating that the device-manager call timed out. Which means your device-manager is busy doing something. When this happens can you access the device-manager?
stubarru Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Hi there I have never had a situation where I cant access device manager
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted November 24, 2018 Administrators Posted November 24, 2018 Ok interesting, I thought as much. You don't have that many devices which is also interesting. Can you allow developer to get access later on this week? They'll add debugging information to your device-manager log. We should be able to diagnose and fix it then. Thanks for your patience.
stubarru Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Hi there More than happy to allow access, look forward to hearing from someone with dates and times Stuart
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted November 26, 2018 Administrators Posted November 26, 2018 Ok thank you. I’ve let the devs know you have responded.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 27, 2018 Netduma Staff Posted November 27, 2018 Hi stubarru, Are you available this Thursday for me to take a look at this? Can you let me know what time would be good for you?
stubarru Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Hi there Yes Thursday is fine but can we do 9pm? Stuart

Mr8nice Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Hey netduma team. I have almost the same problem with my r1 after a couple of months my router main page started to crash at first I didn't pay much attention but now it happens too frequently I have to hard reboot my router by turning it off and on to have my main page to work. I did the factory reset today ago and today it won't load. As you see in the pic it only loads
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted March 19, 2019 Administrators Posted March 19, 2019 Could you double check you're still connected to the router? Either wire in, or check the WiFi in the bottom right hand corner. If all seems connected, could you open the command prompt on your PC (go to the Start menu and type in cmd) From there, type ipconfig and press enter Screenshot the result please - we want to know what your default gateway is. If it's 192.168.88.1 then you're 100% connected to the router. Otherwise you've probably not connected properly.

I did the factory reset today ago and today it won't load. As you see in the pic it only loads I am connected correctly but when I try to log in into the router it stays loading or doesn't load I have to hard reboot for it to work I know I have internet cause my pcs have connections and my phones too but when I log into the router ip it won't load
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2019 Administrators Posted March 19, 2019 The browser picture doesn't have anything in the URL bar so can't see it not loading specifically. Clear your browser cache/cookies and see if that enables you to connect then
Mr8nice Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Yea I did not put anything I was showing the cmd. But my router page doesn't load. Should I downgrade and upgrade again?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2019 Administrators Posted March 19, 2019 Did you clear your browser cache/cookies as suggested? If you cannot access the interface then you won't be able to up/downgrade
Mr8nice Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I did ND nothing I can make it to the interface by turning off power and Bck on will do it for a couple days or hrs until it freezes again so should I do it?
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted March 20, 2019 Administrators Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks for all the info. Yes, could you try and downgrade back to the original R1 firmware and let us know if it's then stable for you. Guide here: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000085792-downgrading-back-to-the-original-r1-firmware-from-dumaos
Mr8nice Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 I am doing it as we speak but now to reupgrade do I have to sign up again? Or how do I get the files to upgrade please and thank you so much love this router
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 23, 2019 Administrators Posted March 23, 2019 No you don't have to sign up again, use the link from the email you got before to get the firmware.
