Can't access homepage after restart.

Recommended Posts

Hi, as the topic says I can't access anything on the router. I have tried everything I can find on the forums e.g. Isolating the router, I've tried 192.168.88.1 and http://r1. I still can't access it. I can't get an up address or a default gateway. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Try...

Turn off both the duma and your PC

Connect to your PC to the duma with a different Ethernet cable, turn on the duma wait a few minutes then turn on your PC.

Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Please could you unplug the router from power for 24 hours. I've seen something like this before and it was incorrectly deemed a returnable fault - by the time it got back here it worked. Try connecting after 24 hours and see if you're able to access the interface/internet.

just to check you are using firefox or Google chrome?

Have you tried accesing it via a laptop or another PC?

Yeah I'm using chrome.

I haven't tried that no, might be worth giving it a go. I only have my pc though so I'll have to wait until I go to a friends to try it.

I unplugged it it last night before I went to sleep so I'll give it a few more hours when I get home and give it another go.

Did you try to upgrade the router at all? If so from what version?

Nope I didn't. I was looking into doing it. I couldn't get it to work properly for a while, kept saying I need to use DMZ on the modem so at the time I was trying to get that working on the modem, didn't do anything to the Duma. I created a backup of the setting just in case I forgot the settings for the modem. Since I put the settings back to what they were when it worked I haven't been able to do anything.
