I have no clue whats going on but basically long story short I play Black Ops 3 & would be randomly lagging practically every game when I walk or get into gun fights & etc I have no clue why even with my sliders at 70/70 or bufferbloat 90/90 its been going on for awhile now & I thought it'd blow over but seems like it isn't

I also wanna mention I tried that idea to use some app on google to mess with the geo filter but soon afterwards that was just the whole simple turning it on/off so I reversed the settings to make it back to normal but thought I should just throw that out there

1. Is the R1 your primary router, do you also have others in your mix?

2. Anyone downloading or streaming something whilst you play?

3. Wifi, is it protected, could someone (either within your home or outside your home) theoretically be using it?

4. Considered if there is ISP network congestion?

5. Any extreme weather conditions that may have caused some issues to wiring/cabling?

6. Have you tried downloading Ping Plotter and running it for an hour, 6 hours or even 24 hours to gain a better understanding?

Sometimes it could be one simple factor or a multitude of them causing issues with ones connection, hope you can find out more.

1. Yes it is primary router

2. No im basically the only one on the internet when I play 24/7 & I don't download or upload things when I play

3. I disabled wifi cause I only use wire &  wifi is mad slower than wire & I don't have the patience to struggle with wifi

4. I don't see how thats possible cause I would only have r1 map out adjusting distance & ping assist really I don't really do anything else when I play

5. Not to sure about that one

6. & im not familiar with ping plotter but im willing to try

From that test it looks as though your base ping is quite high which would then raise the minimum game ping you would be getting. It's also fluctuating by 17ms which isn't the best. It could just be the google server as thats happened to others before.

PingPlotter is a program for your PC that you can use to ping addresses over time and see a graph to see what's happening. Would definitely recommend trying that to see what your line is like. First with the duma then directly into your ISP hub/modem and see if the issue still occurs. Then you can potentially take the evidence to your ISP to see if they can help.

Its always been in the either like 53 or really in the 50's tbh it never bothered me b4 its just when I recently posted I was getting these massive spikes & all this weird things going on but even though I knew it most likely wasn't a setting I set in the R1 but i factory resetted my R1 anyway and I honestly still have yet to see the results yet while gaming cause I've been mainly watching youtube & etc but Ima try playing Black Ops 3 to see if im still experiencing the same problems or not while gaming

I guess the problem was my xbox was backed up so I looked for a way to clear the xbox cache & it seems to be running smooth but you'd think that wouldn't be a problem but in some games it is for some stupid reason but what I planned on doing anyway was buying an SSD thing im not too sure/familiar what it does but all I know for sure is that it improves loading times etc with whatever game thats been put into it so ima try my chances with that & put games I play often into it so I stop experiencing these problems even though it happens rarely

We'd definitely recommend doing a pingplotter test and posting the results here. Make sure you're using the COD Ultimate profile and see if that helps at all; but when the problem is related to spikes / jitter, it tends to be an issue other than the settings. Let us know how you get on :)

you aint really gonna buy an ssd? lol you cannot put 1 easily into an xbox as i know of and you would have to cennect an external 1 via usb which defeats the object. I have an ssd in my ps4 which was easy to install....your pings are high and you aint gonna get a good game on a consistant basis in a month of sundays! Change your isp for something better......50ms aint worth gaming on if that is a base ping especially if it is twitcher games like cod where reaction and pings are crucial!

the current xbox one has a SATA II internal connection meaning technically a usb3 connection is faster...

so the best is to do the following:

install hybrid 1TB drive into the xbox internal

install SSD into the usb port

use usb for games, hybrid will make the xbox dashboard super fast.
