Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 13, 2015 Author Administrators Posted May 13, 2015 I wish more of these were on Netflix. Where do you watch your films?
Spediegunz Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Thank god we live in a digital age or else I'd be one of those guys with a wall filled to the top with DVDs. My server host my thousands of movies and my home stays clutter free. And for the sake of keeping this site free of dcma take down request I won't mention where I get em from LOL
procreate Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 fully stocked media center... also have HULU, Netflix and HBOgo. also a VAST DVD collection [sadly no working DVD player o.O]
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 14, 2015 Author Administrators Posted May 14, 2015 Hrm I may need to get one. I like Netflix but how often do they update it? I just got it a month ago
procreate Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 it varies... but when it has a TV run its great over HULU because no ads. we have been binge watching Sons of Anarchy which has 8! seasons. great not having to watch the ads.
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 14, 2015 Author Administrators Posted May 14, 2015 TV binge on Netflix is dangerous!!
Dillinger Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Was flipping channels and came across Fallen, with Denzel, over the weekend. That is one cool premise and I had to watch the uncensored version yesterday. Definitely a must view if you like supernatural/evil spirits/ evil unknown. *Side note - Did you know that Denzel Washington's films have grossed over 2.3 BILLION dollars and he has NEVER done a sequel?? That is some impressive shit, I don't care who you are.
Dirty Dog Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 *Side note - Did you know that Denzel Washington's films have grossed over 2.3 BILLION dollars and he has NEVER done a sequel?? That is some impressive shit, I don't care who you are. I find this little known fact astonishing! I thought this must be wrong, but nope, he's never done a sequel. Thinking of all the great films he's been in and to have never cashed in, because he surely could have, adds to my admiration of the man. He's supposed to be a genuinely decent person too. Good family man, gives a lot of his time and money to charity. Makes me wonder how much money is enough for some of these superstar A-listers. Here in the UK, Stallone and Arnie are doing adverts for bread and comparison websites smh.. I somehow doubt they're doing it for the "art" lol.

Yeah not for the "art" for sure but I thought this Arnie ad was pretty entertaining
Dirty Dog Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I'll admit it, I almost laughed, "Hello" I guess this stuff pays the bills. (cough, back dated child support, cough) lol
Dillinger Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I find this little known fact astonishing! I thought this must be wrong, but nope, he's never done a sequel. That one will win you a free beer at most bars with people who watch movies. Everyone swears he is like everyone else, but nope. He's been approached for sequels to several of his flicks, from what I have read. Denzel is definitely one of a kind. I wish stardom and "fame" would produce some more like him and less like the current generation.
Dirty Dog Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Denzel's star certainly burns a little brighter than some in La-La land. Your post got me curious about such things so had a look to see if I could find other big names who hadn't yet done a sequel. The list was compiled in August 2013, so may not be entirely accurate, Mark Wahlberg, for example. But still, it's quite the collection of, "Hollywood royalty." 1. Leonardo DiCaprio -- $2.2 billion 2. Denzel Washington -- $2.08 billion 3. Mark Wahlberg-- $1.86 (soon to be disqualified by Ted 2 and Transformers 4) 3. Alec Baldwin -- $1.78 billion 5. Meryl Streep -- $1.76 billion 6. Kevin Costner -- $1.73 billion 7. Ben Affleck -- $1.65 billion 8. Russell Crowe -- $1.55 billion 9. Jamie Foxx -- $1.54 billion (will soon be disqualified by The Amazing Spider-Man 2) 10. Richard Gere -- $1.37 billion Source: http://www.pajiba.com/box_office_round-ups/the-10-highest-grossing-box-office-stars-who-have-never-made-a-sequel.php
Dillinger Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 That's a much bigger list than I would have thought. Costner has never done a sequel either? Now that is interesting. Nice find D2!
fuzzy clam Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm a huge Wahlberg fan,his movies not his music...no marky mark and the funky bunch lol.And can't wait till Ted 2 comes out, loved the first one but i'm also a huge family guy fan so that would probably explain that situation.
Spediegunz Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 On a side note family guy has turned to shit at least I'm my opinion the last two seasons have been unwatchable
wrathoftank Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 1. Sharknado 2. Sharknado 2 3. Sharknado 3 Glad someone has good taste

PharmDawgg Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I tried to watch the Sharknado. What a very painful experience. hahaha
Dillinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I got one for you Iain! Here's the premise. Five guys (Edris Elba, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy, Hayden Christiansen, and Stupid ass Chris Brown) all professional thieves, who happen to be like 1/2 Robin Hood-1/2 "loving the good life every-guys" HAPPEN to also be the world's smartest business men. Completely believable.... And then you have Matt Dillon as a detective chasing the crew, with various cameo partners and "cop associates". Takers (2010) - Should be easy to find on Netflix or the like. I honestly believe if they had not cast Chris Brown, this movie would have been much higher rated. Brown is the "classy" R-n-B singer who hit Rhianna and became the poster boy for male abusers. Give it a view. Other than a side plot about a kid that goes nowhere, it's pretty good. PS - Did I mention a small role for a little actress named Zoe Saldana??
mcl Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 1. Only Lovers Left Alive 2. Biutiful 3. 2001: A Space Odyssey 4. Blade Runner 5. Star Wars (the original, unedited, unmolested, 1977 screen version)
