ColonicBoom
Does your internet drop out completely when this happens or is it just your PS4/Xbox that is affected? Are you playing wired or wireless?

tellto
Try disabling the GeoFilter once your in a game and see if it keeps happening okay thanks
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 15, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 15, 2016 Let us know! For 2v2 wagers you won't need the Geo-filter. So make sure all devices are connected to the duma then use 70/70 anti-flood and put your console in hyper traffic.
Zennon
Also another thought is to test directly from your ISP modem/router and see if you get disconnects as we get closer to see if it is as line fault or a ISP modem/router failing. Have you tried all new cables? Another way is to run ping plotter on a wired device and if you have a disconnection on the main plot along the bottom you will see a red line where 100% packet loss is plotted as the connection drops out. tellto
Try disabling the GeoFilter once your in a game and see if it keeps happening ever since i put my hardware setup as modem>duma(wifi off)>nighthawk(ap mode) my internet has been going out randomly for like 2 minutes then coming back on
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted July 15, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 15, 2016 Wire a PC directly into the Netduma and see if it happens on there. If it doesn't, then the problem is with your Nighthawk and not the Netduma. This will at least help you to narrow down what is causing the problem. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 20, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 20, 2016 Get the same since I got it last year. Got worse past 2 weeks, have to keep turning it of, then on. Everything loses connection. Wireless or ethernet? If WiFi: Disable WiFi workaround Use a WiFi analyser to find the least congested channel and change to that Change the WiFi security mode
nffcbaz72
Great....WiFi workaround was untucked, clicked change security mode, now none of us can get online, even in the netduma hub. Grrrrr
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2016 You'll probably need to reconnect and input your wifi password. Potentially go into the device settings and change the mode it connects with. You can always wire into the router, reenable the security mode it was on which would be easier.
