Administrators Netduma Iain Posted July 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 8, 2016 Hi everyone, Long time, hope you're all well. The new engine is really coming along. I'm confident you will all love it. Anyway I digress, we would like to significantly improve the new device classification system. With your help we will be able to identify far more devices and correctly categorise them. In the new engine there will be loads more device-types, for example printers, cameras, TVs, fridges, etc. If you'd like to help us, please: put the following in your browser: http://192.168.88.1/cgi-bin/devices.sh Copy the entire contents of the page into an email and send to [email protected] If you can give addition information, for example the device named "XYZ" is actually a TV. That would be great. Thanks so much, -ND Dev Team

major masingil
Here's a cool link to help people identify "Nameless Devices" on their network. Just type in the first 3 sections of the MAC address and it will find who the manufacturer is. http://www.macvendors.com/

ColonicBoom
What's up brother? I found 2 that I can't identify. After work today, I'm going to block them and see what kind of havoc occurs I blocked it already and still nobody seems to care (or claim it) but now it just sits there with no ability to connect to the world and it winds me right up. I like chaos but not when it comes to networks. (I am too easily wound up, I'm working on it)
