kinel
Zennon do you think if i bought the twisted rj11 cables that it might fix it As the rj11 cable i bought yesterday was some cheap 2.99 cable I also been waching vids on how to change master socket vdsl face plate I think its to complicated for a novice like me to do So i might just have to change the face plate only as that seems a lot loot easier
BENORMOUS
The vdsl faceplate is incredibly easy mate, literally drop it behind the front of the socket and screw it back up trust me you can do that
Zennon
I prefer using twisted pair as much as i can but i doubt this would stop the packet loss on hop 1 , are you using powerline adapters?

bagsta69
I am a big believer in "if it aint broke, don't fix it" If youre not getting any packet loss leave well alone. Test again at peak times.

According to the forum boffins this is nothing to worry about but i know people who dont seem to get any when testing this low. Make sure all Qos and bandwidth control features are disabled on your network and that no one is using internet when testing.

The short intervals (1 second) seem to show packet loss sometimes when the 2.5 secs doesn't, people have been wondering if the short-intervals are bugged. I honestly don't know but I would assume that if 2 seconds doesn't show PL then you're probably fine. I don't always get PL when I test at 1 sec but sometimes I do, I haven't tested at 0.5 secs - don't think it's an option on Mac.
BENORMOUS
If you have a fttc line then I would recommend fitting the vdsl faceplate
