Recommended Posts

OK I spent almost 30 minutes searching for this and it seems everyone have a different suggestion when to have these enabled or disabled.

My speeds are 30 download and 5 upload.

any suggestions?

Thanks

You can leave deep packet processing unchecked unless you are pc gaming. It works in conjunction with the preemptive algorithm for host analysis. Deep packet not needed for console gaming.

Turn them both off if your not PC gaming or using a media centre, the less processing a device has to do the better.

They should be off by default in my eyes.

Ok guys LOL! I am getting the same results here...I appreciate everyone trying to help but it looks like again I am getting multiple suggestions here on what to do.

So it looks like everyone agrees is for PC host analysis and the preemptive algorithm. I only play console but i do have a slow internet connection so i use preemptive.

Should i have it ticked even that I don't play PC games but have a slow connection? or this doesn't affect preemptive in console gaming at all?

Thanks

Ok i kept searching around an it looks like one of the developers or the only developer not sure...posted that if you do not use host analysis just turn it off. So ill keep it off for now and see if anything is affected.

The more you get use to having the duma in your set up,the more you'll feel comfortable tweaking things on it and trying different settings. No two people's settings and set up's will ever be the same.Play around with your settings, you're not gonna blow the duma up by messing with your settings, well let's hope not anyway.

My point is don't be afraid to experiment a little bit and track what settings you change and which one's work better for you and your network.
