Quick update. The issue has not returned since "The solution at the moment is to disable QoS and DPI."
Additionally, I left the dpi and qos disabled with version 3.3.280 and upgraded to the version 4 beta. Since then the issue has not returned. In the past I had tried version 4 but it had its own dns issues. Not sure how those issues are no longer present since the beta version has not changed? Maybe some of the dpi disable settings linger after the update?

Interesting, that's the same error as mine! Other R2 users have also reported issues recently, but their topics have been moved to the private troubleshooting section and I can't verify if they have the same error as us.

I have disconnected my bricked router for now. Waiting for a response from Netduma.

That'd definitely have to be enabled in either case for it to work. Hopefully the logs reveal something, thanks for the report!

I just remembered. He's using the R2, but he said he's using a beta version that is similar to Netduma R3. Which means, he DID do something similar to the OP setup guide. Bandwidth Reservation.
Here's a setup image guide I put together on how to set this up on R3 and should be the same setup on that beta R2 firmware.
Step 1 of the guide. Just click on SmartQOS. But if you want to skip those step and jump right to step 6. Click the link below for R3
    http://192.168.77.1/dumaweb/#smartqos/profiles/profile_Favourites/allocations
I believe the link is different for R2. Possibly have to start from step one.
But for R3, continue from step 6 onwards.

    Hey everyone!
We’re excited to provide you with the latest firmware for the R2 – DumaOS 3.3.
While it doesn’t bring immediately ‘obvious’ changes like DumaOS for Mobile, DumaOS 3.3 introduces a powerful new addition – our new AutoDPI. This is a big moment for DumaOS, and it means we’ll be supporting new games and applications faster than ever without needing to wait for a firmware update.
For details on what AutoDPI is and how it’s going to make things better, check out our video on it below:
DumaOS 3.3 also comes with a plethora of bug fixes as well as plenty of stability and usability improvements.
After extensive testing, we’re confident that DumaOS 3.3 puts the R2 is in a really good place: we hope you enjoy it.
    Download the firmware here:

    Changelog
Wider range of games and applications supported by DumaOS (and more to come!). Hybrid VPN no longer experiences issues when switching between Wireguard and OpenVPN. DNS settings for Hybrid VPN are now retained after reboot. Fixed an issue where replacing a faulty config file for Hybrid VPN would cause functionality issues. OpenVPN logs are no longer deleted when the VPN is disabled. Various other fixes to Hybrid VPN functionality and stability. IPv6 traffic is now always categorised by QoS, allowing QoS to interact with it more reliably. Ping Heatmap no longer crashes if pinging an empty server group. Improvements to overall DumaOS stability, reducing cases where users see random reboots or disconnections. Numerous security improvements.

I did post this in a reply about a week ago in a topic:
Here is a rough change log so you can get an idea of what it includes. As you can see it's quite a beefy update, hence why it took longer than the previous ones.
Addition of Hybrid VPN Improved SmartBOOST performance Various frontend improvements Fix for memory leak (sometimes manifesting as being unable to access the interface) Potential fix for "frequent disconnects" issue Chromecast and local transfers fixed (this is the WiFi bug where devices can't communicate with each other when they're connected to the same WiFi band e.g. 2.4/2.4GHz) Fix for "No Internet Detected" bug in Setup Wizard IPv6 PPPoE now works with SmartBOOST Ping Optimizer reliability improvements UPnP Improvements

Yes, here in Germany too. But it could have been that the firmware is already ready and will be released automatically on Sunday or Monday.
In any case, I wish you and the team a happy Easter and hopefully a few relaxing days.

    https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53026-anleitung-netduma-33-auf-xr500-und-xr1000-mit-30/
