He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Megatf in GF issues
Just doing my once a week check to see if new FW came out (I paid 200 dollars for this router and it's in the box).
This post title cracked me up because I read the title as "Girlfriend (GF) issues" and imagined OP was getting yelled at by his girlfriend for the internet performance.
i was disappointed to find out it was concerning Geo-Filtering

He4DHuNt3r_XIM got a reaction from Gskillz in 3 out 4 ports only running at full speed. 1 port running slow on speed test
Is it the "Intel Ethernet Controller l225-V / l226-V" that you are using?
Those chip's are know for having issues like you are describing.
Try updating the driver to version 2.1.4.2 or newer, it should help.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM got a reaction from Stilts29 in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.40
Yeah it's a bug with the .40 firmware if you use PPPoE.
I'm having the same issue, hopefully it's fixed in the next update.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Netduma Fraser in White led option toggle on off
It has been requested so it will likely come in future, I will ask the team to see if they can get it in the next one if it's a small job.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Netduma Fraser in new update v.4.0.40
Hello everyone, I will make a new topic with the firmware when ready so you can download it and try, I won't be sending it to people individually so no need to ask

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Netduma Fraser in Soo many issues with poor gameplay and router lag
A new update is being compiled currently, it'll get tested a little bit more, if everything looks okay I'll allow people to try it out tomorrow.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM got a reaction from Skeptismo in Running PPPoE on NETDUMA R3?
VDSL requires a modem, so I would just keep your Friztbox & use it solely as a modem.
Disable the Friztbox WiFi and put the R3's Wan IP into DMZ.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Stilts29 in R3 Forum Suggestions
Just a couple of suggestions for the hard working Netduma staff and to all of the valuable contributors to the forum.
For Staff:
Does it make sense to update the Netduma FAQ post pinned to the top with answers to the most populated questions? Like we have had before maybe a pinned post with latest update projection dates that people can check rather than raise yet another post. A pinned post with latest beta download link with instructions to install and revert. With warning too that it may not have been tested thoroughly. Closing out posts that have been answered or move them to the bottom of the forum. Links to brief videos on how to troubleshoot known current issues on Geofilter for an example, explain what each of the options do and when they should be set.
For Contributors:
Take a few moments to skim through previous posts to see if your issue has already been raised. Prefix your post with the area of the firmware you have an issue with e.g. Geofilter / Port Forwarding. Then a clear high level description of the issue in that area. Give feedback on a post if you have had similar issues, especially if through trial and error you have been able to solve or get around the issue. Be patient and considerate when waiting for replies. The advantages to the above suggestions are that Fraser and the staff can spend less time answering the same questions and more of their precious time getting the updates sorted for the community. I would hate to guess how much time is wasted on forum posts due to post spamming.
Also we can get answers from the community, rather than just the Netduma staff and be able to navigate the forums a lot more efficiently.
I have been really impressed with the R3 and I took it on knowing their might be a few teething problems. I am very confident however that the issues will be fixed soon due to the dedication the Netduma guys have demonstrated to making this a success. Thanks to all who work long hours, over the holiday period too. Not many companies I know of do that.

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Netduma Fraser in when will the new update come out?
As above, no need to make new topics/keep asking, once it's ready you'll either see a post on it or I'll be handing it out to people

He4DHuNt3r_XIM reacted to Netduma Fraser in R3 not reaching Full Fibre 900 speeds (Zen - City Fibre)
Yes that'll be due to PPPoE, if possible we will try to boost the speed possible through PPPoE

He4DHuNt3r_XIM got a reaction from Krush in VLAN not saving :(
Hi, I'm trying to setup the R3 on my Zen - City Fibre connection
When I try set the VLAN to 911, it doesn't save
Is there a fix? I've just received the R3 today
EDIT: Firmware 4.0.23 fixed the issue, thanks!

He4DHuNt3r_XIM got a reaction from One Pint Johnny in R2 and BT Smart Hub guidance
You'll need to log into your BT Smart Hub & go into it's advanced settings, You need to look for something called "DMZ" - It's normally found on the Port Forwarding page
You'll need to scroll through a list of devices connected to the smart hub, select Netduma R2 or it's mac address, tick the DMZ box & Apply.
This will stop the Smart hub's firewall from interfering with your Netduma or causing "Double-Nat" issues.
