  1. The latency value you see in CoD always add's 16.66ms on top of your actual ping if you play on Console. So if you have a ping of 30ms on CoD, your actual internet latency to the server is 13ms - 14ms This is due to CoD factoring in your framerate latency with your internet latency.
  2. You'll need to log into your BT Smart Hub & go into it's advanced settings, You need to look for something called "DMZ" - It's normally found on the Port Forwarding page You'll need to scroll through a list of devices connected to the smart hub, select Netduma R2 or it's mac address, tick the DMZ box & Apply. This will stop the Smart hub's firewall from interfering with your Netduma or causing "Double-Nat" issues.
  3. Hey Fraser, I'd like to be bumped up the list as well for the R1 & XR500 please!
  4. I play on PC & Console, XIM allows me to play with my friends who are only console gamers with the peripherals I'm comfortable with - Modern Warfare 2019 supports native KB/M on console so I use that instead of XIM + I'm only playing Public matches, I'm not using it in competitive or anything earning money. Sony & Microsoft even have licensed KB/M adapters for there consoles, It's not against there Terms of Service.
  5. Do you get your full speeds with that method? I read the HG612 could only handle 55mbs in router mode. I have the HG612 unlocked in bridge mode & XR500 handling PPPoE.
  6. It's has to be some sort of QoS on the BT network, It's affecting BT, EE & Plusnet customers - I'm seen threads on the BT forum where it's even affecting people with FTTP connections - As soon as there's any kind of media streaming happening on the connection (Netflix, Youtube etc...) the latency spikes to 100ms+
  7. I would like to beta test also! I have experience with been a Alpha Tester for XIM.Tech (XIM4 & XIM Apex) I own a R1 & XR500
  8. You are most likely experiencing the same issue I & many others are having with BT, EE & Plusnet (BT Network) with prioritizing streaming/video content. There's a 72 page thread on the BT forums of people complaining of high latency spikes whenever there's someone streaming video content. https://community.bt.com/t5/Home-setup-Wi-Fi-network/Recent-online-gaming-ping-spikes-when-streaming-Netflix/td-p/1930963 https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2019/08/customers-of-uk-isp-bt-see-multiplayer-lag-spikes-during-streaming.html Login into the BT Forums & ask a mod in the thread linked above about applying a "Fix" to your connection - Some people have had success & some others not so much. Sadly I'm with EE & they don't acknowledge this been a issue & don't guarantee ping.....
  9. Netflix & Prime block most VPN's don't they? I could only get NordVPN to work if I used there software on my PC - Using NordVPN through the Router didn't let me watch anything.
  10. Check the dates on the 1st page of the thread, they do know about the issue as it's been happening for over a year
  11. Buster Are you with BT, EE or Plusnet by any chance? There's a 72 page thread on the BT forums of people complaining of high latency spikes whenever there's someone streaming video content. https://community.bt.com/t5/Home-setup-Wi-Fi-network/Recent-online-gaming-ping-spikes-when-streaming-Netflix/td-p/1930963 https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2019/08/customers-of-uk-isp-bt-see-multiplayer-lag-spikes-during-streaming.html I'm with EE, which uses BT's core network & have the same problem
  12. Had to sign up again, forgot the password for my old account & no longer have access to the old email I used for it - oops lol Anyway.... I have the same issue & it only happened today - following your steps did resolve it but trying to update back to the latest version brings up the error "DUMAOS not loaded yet" again. EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm using the XR500.
