It's really a shame that the latest model is inferior in terms of hardware to a model that's five years old.
I wanted to change the router to benefit from an up-to-date and stable DumaOS firmware, but it's impossible because I need this specific connectivity..

So, I still haven't been able to use any of the betas for the XR700, as neither have solved for the DHCP IP issue. Unless there's been another development not announced. I'm still on 3 year old (original shipped) firmware. 

Yes Hybrid VPN should be working fine on the beta. Keep in mind you need a separate VPN subscription from a VPN provider to use it - one that supports OpenVPN.

Yes the 'Delete offline devices' option will be available on the beta, just go to the Device Manager menu and you can do it there.

FYI, I have extensively tested the BETA (XR700 V1.0.1.34_Dumaos3.0_6) and it too still suffers from the pesky DHCP issues.
The latest official release (XR700-V1.0.1.36) does as well. 

The XR500 still doesn't have a final version for DumaOS 3? It's been 7 months since the 1st wave of beta was opened ...
And the beta for the XR700 which has only been available for a few days, the final version will be available in 2022 ....

Anything new on a DHCP fix?

Sorry but the XR700 beta hasn't started yet. It won't be starting until the XR500 beta is in a good place.

It shouldn't be that slow for you, you may need to clear your browser cache/cookies then load each page of the interface and then it should be faster. 
It will be coming very soon, it won't be long between each beta for each of the routers.
