It's essentially the same thing except that I don't advise you to put a PC in DMZ! There is also the issue of NAT due to shared IP (CGNAT) if you don't have the correct port range given by your ISP, moderate NAT on the game will be the only option!

So the server is just badly geolocated ... I Think !

as explained above: it has 2 peas 2 measures... 1) the speed test on dumaOS is tied to a server that is not necessarily optimized for your lan connection, so the test will ditch the best... just put your speeds provided by your ISP 2) The speed test given by your PC in Wifi depends on the maximum speeds that the wifi card can give, if it is limited you will never have the maximum speed that your ISP offers you. (Contrary to a test carried out with an RJ45 port at Gbps on a PC) Can you give us a screenshot of your wifi card on your PC: Type: in the windows search bar control panel left click: network and internet / sharing center and network / modify the parameters of the card. Then right click on your wifi card connected to the network / select status. (this will tell you the max speed of your wifi on the PC)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_packet_inspection Clearly, the DPI makes it possible to inspect the packets, so they will be better prioritized according to their application in order to improve the QOS. If a game packet is spotted, it will take priority depending on the % application flower setting you have configured...

Best router with geo filter and hybrid VPN
Krush replied to CynicalJedi's topic in Community Discussion
I don't want to influence you, I use the R2 because I haven't used the XR500 for 3 years (I haven't tested its latest FW in beta). But I can confirm that the HVPN works on both ! You can wait for other opinions, make your choice or wait a few more months for something new! -
Best router with geo filter and hybrid VPN
Krush replied to CynicalJedi's topic in Community Discussion
Both work well with HVPN! The difference is mainly at the hardware level ... and especially at the level of the fact that the R2 is a product exclusively designed by Netduma and that the XR series is a hybrid with netgear ! Personally I have 2, the XR500 serves me as a WIFI access point and the R2 as a router mainly wired. Concretely, if you want to favor wifi for your gaming peripherals, the XR500 will be more efficient for speeds, I think! -
Issues with GbE LAN vs 2.5GbE LAN on XR1000
Krush replied to Jess's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Just a graphical bug, I think! By default, network cards are auto-negotiated! You can change the metric of the network card in case another one takes over your PC .... Can also be the EEE function to be turned off on the card! It's definitely something that brings only problems! -
Ok I understood that he had upgraded the graphics engine since MW 2019! @Victor-Yout In short, it doesn't matter, it is clearly an impact due to the script; nothing more to do I think!

Are you talking about Graphic Engine or script?

Maybe disabling ipv6...

There clearly it's the game, just 'badly' coded !!! This kind of kill cam happens to me every day, so frustrating. I don't know if the player opposite has just reappeared, but on the last CODs, I have the feeling that the code allows an advantage to the player who reappears. it's still very complicated to trap the enemy in respawn.

Low Upload/Downloadspeed when using Hybrid VPN (ExpressVPN) on PS5
Krush replied to Karlo's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It's mainly related to a hardware limit... R2 cpu which can't route more than 20/20 Mbps (on a nearby server) with openVPN which is pretty good. To have better speeds the best is to use Wireguard, less heavy and more powerful (Reason for which the Netduma team to integrate this service) but it is necessary a compatible VPN operator who distributes configuration files. Many have their own wireguard hybrid service so better vault it to make sure before taking out a subscription! -
Gamevpns xbox + playstation call of duty console vpn compatible?
Krush replied to bullet_uk's topic in Call of Duty Support
No definitely, No matter expressVPN (personally it's just an example because it allows the same service on game console as your "proxyDNS") or another real VPN , you will have the same result ! -

$8.99/month for a proxyDNS, I admit it's the best! -

If you are willing to give your bank details and ip address on a website with gamingVPN in the title... Hallelujah! -
Gamevpns xbox + playstation call of duty console vpn compatible?
Krush replied to bullet_uk's topic in Call of Duty Support
That's what I thought, you don't know how a VPN works and you'd rather pay more to have something like a simple proxyDNS with 7 servers. It's crazy that people are willing to pay for that! But if you are happy with the result, Amen! -

it looks like the service via dns offered by ExpressVPN on console... But no way to control the location and I admit I saw no difference in the game... -

Krush replied to bullet_uk's topic in Call of Duty Support
Ok, what's stopping you from doing that with a real VPN? In multiplayer for 12 years... now! Yes, this is the role of the geofilter! -
The easiest thing would be to simply change the password on the R2 hard admin page! Or during the initial configuration define the network name and your new wifi password!
