Hi ! It's a good question, the tone of some in writing is just difficult to interpret or to their image..! Regarding your question, it's 2 tests are performed on 2 different servers which could explain the difference between ookla and waveform. Rely on waveform for your connection bloat test which is more accurate!

For more precision : The R2's HVPN will allow you max speeds of 15Mbps ul/dl with the openvpn protocol like the wireguard protocol which allows much higher speeds! "Should you choose TCP or UDP? Among the many protocols available, TCP and UDP are certainly the two most popular with Internet users. TCP TCP (short for âTransmission Control Protocolâ) is undoubtedly the most popular choice. To simplify, this protocol guarantees the transmission as well as the reception of data packets. Very often this selection is also referred to as "TCP/IP". The particularity of this configuration refers to a verification system applied during each issue. Thus, a notification specifying the correct reading and display of a web address provides indisputable browsing comfort. This process is also applied when downloading files, for example. Downloading corrupted data therefore becomes anecdotal. In case of unavailability, the user is notified by a warning message stating that the remote host is unavailable. Unsurprisingly, the communication system employed by TCP can reduce the connection speed of an Internet user. UDP Unlike TCP, UDP (short for âUser Datagram Protocolâ) is one of the main telecommunications protocols used by the Internet. This is part of the transport layer of the OSI model, the fourth layer of this model (characteristic similar to TCP). UDP does not provide any verification when receiving data. In other words, a device using this protocol will limit itself to sending data packets to ensure the connection. This protocol offers communication without delay: UDP is suitable for fast data transmission without establishing connections. The loss of individual packets only affects the quality of the transmission. Streaming enthusiasts or gamers may prefer this solution. On the other hand, the âstabilityâ of the targeted address is essential here. Otherwise, multiple error messages (see total inaccessibility of the URL or service) can reduce browsing comfort. Some articles also mention hacking attempts made from the Steam platform. In short, UDP makes it possible to optimize the connection speed to the detriment of a verification of the data packets and therefore of security. NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Krush replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Is there any reason you no longer have access, the XR is behind a main router (ISP) or other devices? Have you tried restarting all the machines upstream? You are at Free (ISP)! How did you configure your freebox? -

Krush replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hi ! Did you put a static ip on the ethernet card of your PC during the Flash of the router? You can try by putting in automatic, or via the gateway address of the XR700 to access its configuration page! (HTTP or HTTPS) -
If you are on windows 11 or "10 to verify", the smb1 is not activated by default, which can cause problems. Type in the search bar of the taskbar "activate or deactivate windows features. Check the client smb1 / applied and restarted the PC!

Ip adress of authentication server of warzone 2
Krush replied to NeoKot's topic in Call of Duty Support
I know . We have a lot of blocks here from world and from our government . Even VPNs are mostly blocked by our government . I am against all that is happening in Ukraine now and know people that are also against this situation but we can easily get to jail just saying our opinion. Even word WAR is prohibited here. Keep talking about it, there will always be solutions to circumvent the censorship of a dictatorial regime... I think these words can only warm the hearts of oppressed people! -

Any updates for XR1000 ? most expensive router ...
Krush replied to Xdrqgol's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You can try targeting the server in the Netherlands with the geofilter circle, which seems to be closest to you! However, this may affect your multiplayer game search time as only "this server/s" will be open. -
I did a little moderation. Please stay on topic and avoid dubious and pointless jokes!

Regardless..., packet forwarding priority is the soul of using QoS... The ping is another matter...
-
With a 1 Gbps up/dl connection, in other words, using QoS will be useless... Because apart from having an app that sends or receives 110 MB/s (1gbps up/dl) at the same time as you play , your connection will not be impacted! On the other hand, what can be interesting with the use of QoS is the priority of sending / receiving packets according to the applications you use (games / stream / VOIP or other). Take for example SmartQoS on the R2, the prioritized packets (app/devices) will no longer be in the queue because they have priority! With the DPI the favorite packets (probed and listed) ...no longer go through the queue (VIP).

I understand, A little reading... Sorry, but this will necessarily be more explicit... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation

This will allow you to have a full port range 0 to 65535 and not shared against CG-NAT... Open NAT and port forward! On the other hand, paid for it and more is a scam, it should be a free service on demand!

Are you using the HVPN or have you blocked some servers on the game? I've had this problem before, but it was solved with a simple factory reset! ...10 minutes to reconfigure it to the max... -
Not receiving close to full connection speed using R2 router
Krush replied to Ravenuk's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hi, I imagine you are on a pppoe connection behind your ONT, which might show a slight difference from a live test of your ISP router. As for the R2's live benchmark test, unfortunately it uses the MLab test which does not necessarily match the test servers following your ISP's peering. It is best to manually enter your flow values. See this capture, as you can see the R2 is approaching the maximum speeds in RJ45 1G. The test server, on the other hand, makes the difference! Enregistrement 2023-08-12 233511.mp4 -
Another day, another problem with XR1000
Krush replied to banjo22's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hi ! This can happen if you have a primary router upstream of the Duma, after a power outage the best is either to wait for it to retrieve an ip address via the XR's DHCP or simply restart them electrically after the XR is reachable!
