Spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I have a friend at my house both of us connected via ethernet but one of us will have an open nat type and the other will have moderate or both moderate. Its struggling to find games for the moderate nat console. Any tips would be great
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 7, 2015 Hi Spencer, what game is this on? Is all port forwarding removed in Settings >> Port forwarding and also from your other router? Is UPnP enabled?
Spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 BO3 no ports being forwarded just upnp enabled, im only using the netduma router
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 7, 2015 BO3 no ports being forwarded just upnp enabled, im only using the netduma router Did you have this problem on AW?
Spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 I never had anyone over to my house to play before so I'm not really sure
Spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 My nat was open before my friend got here but both of us on the duma hasn't gone great
fuzzy clam Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Follow the steps on the wiki to get an open NAT and it wouldn't hurt to reboot everything on your network, modem, duma, console's
Spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 still no luck I put both of us on the host filtering if that makes a difference?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 7, 2015 still no luck I put both of us on the host filtering if that makes a difference? Can you take a screen shot of Settings >> UPnP and have you disabled the GeoFilter when loading up the game?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 7, 2015 how do you screen shot? This shows how to take a screen shot
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 7, 2015 Screen Shot 2015-11-07 at 3.08.04 PM.png Well it looks like the ports are opening correctly. Maybe at the moment the game does't support multiple consoles with open NATs. When you load the game do you have the GeoFilter disabled?
Ian88 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Same problem here, my console is open, but my wife's is moderate.. Nothing but issues with this game so far
psygn Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Same here. But I'm behind another router (Asus). So it's like Modem -> Netduma R1 -> Asus Router -> PS4. All hooked up wired.
NathanielCarter Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I also have exactly the same problem with 2 xbox ones. Can you not just port forward both consoles? Every time i try it says "Rule already exists that covers those ports" Which is true but not that ip! Any help would be awesome. Really struggling to play atm. Thanks
Buster Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 i have the same problem, two xbox one's in the same house, AW we both had open, now one is open and the other is moderate.
fuzzy clam Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I believe that the almighty Buck said in another thread to set a static IP for the console that is moderate and see if that helps out. Let us know
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2015 Administrators Posted November 8, 2015 Can you restart the router and the console/consoles and see if that resolves it please
Ian88 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Just wondering if that doesn't help, what is the alternative? ^ as I'm having the same issue.. My ps4 is open, my my wife's is moderate.. (on ops3 I mean)
MikeTHIS Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Same issues here. Unusable. Never been like this and I've had the router since launch.

My ps4 is open, my my wife's is moderate.. (on ops3 I mean) It would be some sort of port forwarding I'm sure. I suspect the game reports an incorrect NAT
