I really enjoyed the beta, I thought it was a really good and had the loads of fun playing it.

The only thing I thought was a bit over the top was flinch but apparently they have found it was a bug and it was stacking.

I specifically bought the Duma to play Black ops 3, the beta connection wise was poor for me, i have a 500mb download and 120 upload but just couldnt compete with anyone so im hoping my little white magic box will turn things around  :)

Maybe it's your region. I have the same problem. Gamers in low populated areas  can't compete with guys living next door to dedis.

At least there is a graph and a ping meter built-in the game, so we can check our connection.

R1 is a great help too, if you want to avoid dedis....

I already pre-ordered for PS4 and PC. PC is mainly for offline training with bots & solo campaign (vs. CO-OP) because the PC version, while looking the best, will be invaded with hackers day one, unfortunately :(

I'm going to be streaming BO3 and promoting the Netduma, since Ian and Fraser game me permission. I would love to play with you guys, on and off stream, so give me an friend request at CaktuzJak. The more people who know about the R1, the more this forces Activision and CoD devs to step up their game, IMO... And it helps sell Netdumas, too ;)

nope. first CoD i will not be getting. and to really be honest, the "nextgen" consoles are already dated i have no interest in getting one for my personal use. maybe when IW releases the next CoD the nextgen will be at a pricepoint they are worth buying [<$250].

Now you make me have second thoughts  <_<

A COD purchase is in my annual budget. It's like a ritual for me. Germans have Oktoberfest in Munch. I have Novemberfest in my place. Both with tons of beer.

I always buy a hard copy. If I get bored, I can easily trade it or even sell it in a good price.

Its the first time in years I'm not getting a COD on launch day - tho I may succumb if I see it cheap second hand in a few months. Maybe it's my age and slow reflexes but current day shooters are for me. I don't like the wall running, boost jumping and the over powered specialist abilities plus the lag was shocking too (both on Xbox one and PS4)

Ironically I'm setting up my old Xbox 360 so can play black ops 2 in my gaming corner to see how it plays - I'm unsure if the Xbox one backwards compatibility will include old CODs and if so what the lobby sizes will be. I loved playing that game with the dogs and swarm kill streaks I used to try to rack up. It's really ironic that the advantages of next gen graphics are undermined by poor lobby sizes, poor performance from the "dedicated servers which didn't give the implied lag free gaming" and too "futuristic style games" in my view.

You have a point there. But remember COD community (pre-AW), always whining about the same game, year after year? Devs listened and they came up with something new. They decided to implement futuristic abilities. Now we want the old style gameplay back (myself included). Weird situation.

i dont think the whole community was whining for something new and different. just a small vocal bunch was... i dont think anybody wanted what they came up with. my complaints since the start was for better connection/lag/hit detection. that is the most important aspect of the game. i have also wanted a CoD Online experience than the yearly releases that seem to go backwards than forwards in terms of my first point.

then again, my favorite and what i asked for was the least liked CoD put out... just a few tweaks to that game would of been incredible. that game engine with all the maps would be insane.

Definitely getting it and looking forward to it.   May not play it quite as much as past CoD's, but only because there are so many game's coming out at once that are gonna be fun - Ops3, Halo 5, Battlefront, and i've just recently gotten into Destiny Taken King...   But will def put a good bit of time in it...

I did not get on well with the beta on ps4, was very disappointed to the point i abandoned it a couple of days in, only cod I've ever missed was ghosts gave that an almighty swerve, i'm feeling the same on Bo3. The beauty this year is fallout, woo hoo! so i don't feel so hard done by.........but on the other hand its COD....

I pre ordered but after the beta was close to cancelling it, Having played a few games of blops 2 over the last few days which was always awful for me I have decided to keep my pre order.

The main problem as I see it is that the game developers cater to the audience that are not even old enough to be playing the god damn game but hey what are ya gonna do. Mummy needs something to babysit the kid whilst she bangs the window cleaner.

I am hearing more and more from the older generation of gamers that they want a return to the basics gun on gun as opposed to all this shit and 24 kill streaks crap that has been churned out on the last few releases and I for one miserable old badger am right with em.

Having played the blops3 beta and the star wars beta, neither of which was astounding, I think I will be getting blops 3 simply because it also has the campaign which I enjoy and you can play it co/op so a bit more fun there,

Usually by the 3rd update blops games go to hell for me but I will try.

Been ready for BO3, I enjoyed the beta.. found the wall running and thrust jumping made for interesting gun encounters.. Some of the specialist abilities I found frustrating....rejack...but overall, I'm excited for the game..and I've never really cared for the Black Ops series

I don't get why some people think Rejack is overpowered considering that it will NOT work when you are killed with enemy Specialist weapons. And secondly, as long as you keep on shooting at the direction where the person fell in the puff of smoke, you will confirm get the kill the moment he gets back up.
Instead, I see a lot of noobs just going on their way even though they see the puff of smoke which indicates the person is not dead yet. And when they get killed in the back by the Rejack user, they get angry.
I don't know what to say to this except that their own death is completely their fault.
And interestingly, this was only brought up during the Xbox Beta and not the Playstation Beta and considering the number of annoying kids there, I can tell why they think it so and making the game almost the same as Ghosts with all the weak and useless killstreaks which serves no purpose.

Rejack seems completely balanced to me thus far with all the other overpowered Specialist Abilites like shooting noob tubes and laying small little insect traps and an AOE attack by the slammer.
