Guateuc
at our house we have the 1 GIG service, it is insane. it is fast to get digital games on ps4/pc than using a disc. They need to implement that where I'm at. Just right down the road int Atlanta. They want to expand but the FCC need to okay it. soon it will come. Wow Dude... For a Residential user perspective why would you need such Bandwidth? I don't think a resident user needs that much . but who knows, may be in the future that bandwidth will be needed. Administrators Netduma Iain Posted October 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 16, 2015 Someone needs to invent something to use that bandwidth, or start making websites super bandwidth intensive. Achieving over 1gbit on a single device needs special hardware. Also routers will need to be beefed up majorly to hit those rates or have hardware NAT but that breaks many things. Will be interesting to look out for.
