Nice run man - I too am looking forward to Nov 6th, I just hope the dedi's are up to the challenge.

Hoping they seen the attention the beta got, and added more dedi's to compensate for the heavy traffic.

I don't know if anyone else saw this, I didn't even think about snapping a picture as I am a moron, but I layed about 33% of my games last night for Blops 2 PS3 on a Dedi in San Francisco and the game play was literally hit and miss.  It wasn't "bad", but I have several P2P hosts saved that played a lot better.  *shrug*

As with all things software, you never really know until you test it in a real world environment.  I did put in for a long weekend at the start of November though.   :D

True. Honestly, with NETDUMA, I've been wondering what's the point in dedi's? Don't get me wrong, I'll have the occasion laggy game (maybe once in every 20+ games), but P2P w the R1 plays better for me. I haven't got on to much dedi's as closest ones to me are Atlanta and New Jersey. I hardly get paired to those, they are there i see them active but hardly get on em. :/

I did the same. Taking off work that Friday (I've taken off work for every COD since MW2) and have all weekend for BO3. Wife and kids gonna have to pry me off for me to sleep. Send em to the movies, mall .. Somewhere Saturday and Sunday while I nerd it out! :D

Wow great play - well done!! Also like your set up - I used to go VSAT, EMP then Dogs or Swarm but next time will definitely try yours.

Not getting BLOPS 3 as didn't like the demo - tho may succumb if can get it cheap second hand.

I don't ever go higher then VSAT in TDM on BO2. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I usually end up getting killed by the completely random window-licking split-screener either one off my VSAT, or as soon as I hit the button to activate the damn thing.  I think I hold a record of getting killed off my streak AFTER putting my own VSAT in the air.  *shaking head sadly*

I don't even know why I bother, I should just skip it and put on the Escort Drone, at least that doesn't get me killed EVERY time....

At one time we ALL were complaining about BO2 or any FPS and how game play was.  Hit markers up the ying yang and such.  We cried DEDICATED servers.  If games were on dedis, I wouldn't have all these hit markers.  Now when placed on dedis, we are still complaining.  Depending on the distance between you and the dedi basically will determine how well the connection is.  If your playing on an Xbox One and live on the East Coast of the US, you still might get connected to the server in Seattle.  WTF!  Now people armed with the R1, are now saying P2P should return.  I for one am guilty of this.  I live in Hawaii, and there is no fricken way in hell that I will EVER get a 25ms ping to anywhere as long as Microsoft or Sony and the game developers themselves wants to utilize dedicated servers.  As the saying goes, "Be careful what you wish for"
