Then I check the input in so that it is listened to at the PC sound settings and I finally adjust the sonar software! To sum up, the audio stream from the xbox is transmitted to the PC via the screen! The adio out on tv is that the two plugs red and white and the audio in jack on mother board is that 1 connector 35ml jack So im guessing the dac eq is plugged into the pc Thanks for your help@fuzy Im clueless on pc sound as never used it for years

nferguzl
After participating on this thread a couple of months ago, I ended up with an awesome setup just letting everybody know. I got the ifi zen stack paired with an hd800s. Additionally I purchased an audio optimization from sensequality.com. They use equalizer APO and peace for your specific setup. So footsteps are enhanced and gunshot sounds are minimized. Really happy with my setup. Able

On xbox series s, I work like this: I transferred all the audio stream from my xbox to my PC via the jack of my screen (no audio output on xbox series S apart from the hdmi), then via the stereo mix of the PC's sound card by opening the listening on the input line, either the flow is transferred to my audio speakers or to my headphones by my audio line output. Sorry to bother you again @fuzy Is there any chance you could post what pc you have the specs mainly the sound card make and model As i cant get it to work with my pc onboard soundcard I think its time i bought a newerr pc with your sound card or simmilar Thanks
Fuzy
@kinel It doesn't matter what your PC is, as long as the motherboard offers an audio line in and out! kinel

Do you mind sharing what settings/setup you had to do for those apps/softwares? Currently I am using Corsair wireless rgb virtuoso.(I can plug them up but never do, maybe I will start using a cord). with my Corsair headset I use Dolby atmos with all the sliders up so I’m not reducing anything I just boosted everything treating it more like an amp then I am using sound lock to limit the audio so it’s not killing my ears. I was using theatre like everyone has been saying to use but I’m swapping back and forth with headset because theatre sometimes I just too quiet for me. going to look into using APO. I downloaded it before but never got it running efficiently
K0NSPIRACY
I wouldn’t worry too much about the audio at the moment…it’s total dog shit and they’ve admitted that it’s fundamentally broken. Whatever you do won’t improve things much so it’s best to wait until the S2 update and adjust settings accordingly once that’s been released (if the audio actually gets fixed).
