Doughboy
Hi I’ve been having issues with my safari not loading the xr1000 gaming router page. Is there any reason why?
BIG__DOG
Have you tried clearing the browser cache then trying to log in again?
Exe_uz
Does it work with chrome or firefox?

BIG__DOG
As above, chrome is an excellent choice on mac. Safari does not play nice with dumaOS as I can recreate on my pc the possible error you are getting. I also ran into an issue where I couldnt even get the page to load at all unless i used http as it defaults to https which is a secure connection. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 5, 2021 As above, believe it is due to the new Safari upgrade that forces all connections to be HTTPS if they're HTTP. So would be advised to use a different browser at this time.
Doughboy
Does the 1.0.0.58 update work properly yet? I’m still on 52 because it wasn’t acting right with my router.

Via routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1?
Doughboy
I’m using chrome on my Mac and I updated the router to .58. It’s still showing a spinning wheel. Or it says the rapps are taking too long I don’t know what to do now. Should I scrap the router now? Because it was doing it with the past update now this one. I also cleared the cache on chrome as well
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 Are you using the IP to access? Make sure you're connecting using http so http://192.168.1.1 Reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes then access and it should load correctly. No need to scrap the router, it can and will be fixed.
Doughboy
That 192.168.1.1 access won’t come up only 10.0.0.1 will work. And that’s on chrome

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 I'd recommend reinstalling the firmware using the TFTP method: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP that will upgrade the firmware bypassing the boot process and any issues there. Then you can do a factory reset after that for the freshest install possible. As your issue seems to persist after a reset/reboot the issue may very well be in the boot process.
