is add blocker supposed to block ads on youtube ?

It isn’t in its current state. There are some more optimizations to the adblocker app that have to occur. I remember one of the devs saying that youtube ads were a little more difficult to block.  But blocking those ads is in the works. One of the devs  will speak on the issue as well.

as much as I know, that it is impossible to block YouTube ads as they are injected in the same IP or the same link of the video. some people tried, but they finally failed to block them. I quit up subscribing YouTube premium.

uBlock Origin blocks ads in YouTube with no issue, so Netduma will get this sorted for the R2

@PharmDawgg explained it perfectly. It is a little harder to get these to be blocked but we are working on it and I'm confident it will work.

Nothing as yet I'm afraid, I know we've been testing adblocker more lately but I don't think we've quite managed to consistently block YouTube ads as yet.
