OPEN WRT TO XR500

I have a router with open wrt which I would like to get it connected to internet with sky fibre, I’ve got a modem plugged in hg612 which gets connection, but I’m struggling to get it to work with open wrt router which I then want to plug in to my duma for the use of geo, I don’t suppose anybody on here knows the settings for sky fibre on open wrt latest firmware, any help guys would be much appreciated thanks

In openwrt, is there an option called Option 61 in the WAN settings?

If so, put this in the Option 61 field: randomuser@skydsl|password

you don't need Option 61 it works without it

I’ve not seen option 61 like the xr500, can’t find anything on open wrt it connects but just doesn’t get access to internet says failed

Not sure then unfortunately as not used it myself and never had Sky. Hopefully some people around the forum can chip in.

Why don't you just use THE DHCP OPTION 61 feature in Dumaos? 

I assume you have a Dumaos router? Connect that up to the modem and follow my PDF guide I posted, you should be able to find through my username and just put the Openwrt router to the one side and test using that setup.
