Includes more detail on specific features. You can find the wiki here. Search the forum for your question/issue as a solution may have already been posted. You can search by going here. After doing the above and your issue still remains please create a thread following this template. This will enable us to help you as quickly as possible. What firmware version are you on? (Check at bottom of any page on the R1. If lower than 1.03.6 please follow upgrade instructions here first). What speeds do you get from multiple speed tests? What is your current setup? E.g. ISP hub/modem (Specify model) > R1 > all devices What is your specific issue? (Provide as many details as possible. If it is a lag issue include the screenshots from here in your post) Any other information (such as settings you may have previously tried). Do not create multiple threads for your issue - they will be closed.

ColonicBoom
As MoDBoX said, we really need to know your setup and your settings. My setup for example: Huawei HG612 modem > Netduma > Asus AP > Devices [all connected over ethernet] If you could attach screenshots of your settings from Congestion Control, Miscellaneous Settings, Geo Filter, and the Internet Diagnostics page (also click 'Show Details'), that would help us a lot. Also, where are you roughly (UK city, US State)? What are you playing?

ColonicBoom
What is your current setup? E.g. ISP hub/modem (Specify model) > R1 > all devices Good point. As MoDBoX says, everything needs to go through the Netduma to minimise local congestion. If you have an ISP hub in there then you have to make sure it's wifi is disabled and that nothing else is connected to it. Otherwise those devices will be 'outside' of the Anti-Flood and can cause spikes.

ColonicBoom
Ok, cool, there's plenty on here with BT. In miscellaneous settings untick the following (you can enable them again later if you actually need any of them): Untick Deep Packet. Untick Remote Access. Untick UPnP Forwarding unless you need it to get an open NAT (you probably don't). Untick Multicast Snooping (you probs don't need that either). Untick IPv6. IMPORTANT. Tick Cookies (you need this). Then reboot your Netduma from Miscellaneous Settings. Your Geo looks fine, although I'd turn off Auto-Ping host for the moment while we're looking at the issue. You can try the Reactive algorithm too. I only have 20mb/5mb but I use Reactive (I know the instructions say use Pre-Emptive, don't worry about that). For the moment, 'Reset Distribution' in 'Device Priority', make sure 'Share Excess' is ticked. Post up the link again for Diagnosis (Show Details), your link above was wrong. Make sure the wifi is disabled completely on the homehub. Everything should be connected to the Netduma wifi instead. Are any devices attached to the homehub by ethernet? They need to be connected to the Netduma to stop them causing spikes. I'll off but I'll check back in here tomorrow.

Unfortunately though, there's only so much the Netduma can do to fix issues like that. If you try all of Colonic's suggestions and nothing changes, you'll need to do a more extensive test to get to the root of the problem. After trying those settings, download Pingplotter and run a test for 2 hours with your Netduma connected, and 2 hours without. (Pinging a site like Twitter.com). Make sure to screenshot the results since they'll be the best indicator of where the issue is coming from. If you see bad spikes without the Netduma connected, then it indicates problems with your line. At that point, the equipment itself could be to blame - a new Ethernet cable might reduce it, for example.

ColonicBoom
im not 100% sure but im pretty sure most if not all things are connected to the netduma All things MUST go through the Netduma, wifi and ethernet, or the anti-flood won't work. Nothing can be connected to the ISP hub except for the Netduma. As Jack said, if you have it set up like this and you still have spikes then you need to run a test (over ethernet while wifi is disabled) on your line with Ping Plotter. A 30 minute test at peak time will usually be enough for us to tell if there's an issue. It could still be one of the cables though, it's always a good idea to swap them out and see if it improves things. Obviously it could be any of the cables in the chain, modem, hub, xbox, laptop, depending on where the spikes are appearing. It could also be a problem in the little box on the wall where your BT signal comes in. If you're still seeing spikes it's not the end of the world though, BT are pretty good and there's lots of things the problem can be. Let us know how you go. *If you're playing IW, it's been pretty funky on Xbox this week. Testing your line is the best way to see what's up rather than just in-game.
