Ethernet Connection

My Wifi is working ok on the Duma, bur when I connect with the ethernet it won't connect to my PS4, tells me that the IP Adress can't be found in the time permitted.

Have changed my cables for one that I know are working, the funny thing is it works for a few games then goes off

 

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated

Did you try a different port on the back of the Duma?

 

And reboot it all if you haven't already.

just double check that the ip address on your ps4 is not clashing with another device.

had the same issue with one laptop, but i dont know how i fixed it, maybe a factory reset it was for me.

Ensure your console is connecting via automatic network settings. Ensure ethernet cable is firmly in port on both console & duma. Try a different duma port. Set a static IP for your console in DHCP lease.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the suggestions, I solved the problem, it was a "dicky" cable from my power line adapter. I tried everything else and that left the poweline adapters, I swapped the cable and have had no further problems
