Maybe they did away with p2p altogether, atleast for me. Ive played black ops 2, ghost, and aw. 100% of those games i played including the ones i left were dedicated servers. I cant find a p2p lobby on any of those games. Ive played atleast 100 games between all three and no p2p...

Guys I have noticed I am always a second behind players when I am directly connected to dedicated servers, so I have turned off shared excess on the upload prioritise, and put my Xbox one percentage down and pulled my download bar right down and done a speed test until I find my upload around 380kb and download around 1mb, I have noticed with this I don't connect directly to a dedi rather connect through a player who is on a dedi, I'm not a networking guy but I think it acts as a listen server that way, maybe because the game thinks my bandwidth is low so I won't be able to act as a listen server for other players.with this I notice my connection is much better and get to win gun fights I should. When you look at it this way bandwidth really does come into action, yes a low ping will always mean less lag but the way the COD matching works or at least how I have come to understand it, being directly connected to a dedi rather than a listen server really does impact lag comp for players who are connected through someone, when Iain implements the download device prioritise along with the upload we will be able to lower the download to a 2:1 ratio with upload. A lot of people have found this to be good results, but when in a full party raising your upload to around 500kb up is a must. I have had a lot of success with this and it does work I am not deluded! I am a long time COD player to know when I am being BS. Try it out hopefully I can help someone. Remember there will always be some BS in the game because people will always have different connections. It does not mean this will cure every game 100% but it makes it 90% more playable I promise! This also helps in private matches if you are not host and the host is good. Just remember you may have to adjust the bandwidth when In full party's :).

I don't remember in what thread I saw it in but I saw that someone had brought down the congestion control to 35% in their download and upload. I did this yesterday too and I had a lot more better games. I am going to use it again today and see if in fact this was real based on the setting I used .

These servers are a fuckin joke. Absolute waste of time trying to play on them. Just got shot, sniped i thought cos it was instant death. Kill cam shows him shooting half a clip at me before he even got a hit maker?????

Ive been playing black ops 2. Dont have the patience to play Leapfrog of duty: advanced lagfare anymore. Best chance is to hope black ops 3 is p2p or has a better matchmaking system. Supposedly treyarch has a new engine so fingers crossed. Aw is a lost cause right now.

Pro, could you better explain this method I would like to give it a try. Are you doing the speed test through the Xbox or laptop/iPad? I have the ps4 and use an iPad for Duma control. Thanks.

Under the device prioritisation untick the share excess and mess about with the percentage of your console on the flower diagram under the up and down throttle bars, then do the speed test through your console until your find the right speeds. Do you understand what I mean? If not I will post a screenshot of my set up but will have to be tonight after work :)

Hey guys yes it still works, after each update you may need to mess about with the bandwidth to find the sweet spot again. All in all the Xbox one servers are just terrible! Ps4 don't seem to have no way near the same problems and as for last gen my Xbox 360 was 10x better connection, yes there was still some BS but bloop way near the amount with XB1! XB1 servers are that bad I'm concidering moving to PS and I really don't want to as I'm a huge Xbox fan :(
