Bo3 hit detection

Hit detection (in general) is fine for me on Xbox One.

But what isn't fine is having anyone and everyone from Europe on a bank of servers in one location, it's total shit.

If I see the abbreviations of certain countries in clan-tags then I usually back out before the game starts because those countries have medieval internet.

Obviously hit-detection on these players is non-existant half the time (if you can even work out where they are going), just luck of the draw as far as who gets into the lobbies with you now I'm afraid.

It's the same thing with every title, starts out ok then gets better at about the 3-4 month mark and then they go downhill from there, for most anyway.

It's a classic rinse,wash,repeat cycle

This title seems to have had an extremely short life and rapid downfall though.

I was playing MW3 on Xbox 360 from it's day one launch right up until the day BO3 launched on Xbox One (didn't really play anything else) and it played many times better than BO3 several years after release.

You play mostly in the day though right? When the internet has a lot less local (neighbourhood) congestion?

I don't mean that my neighbourhood suffers from over-subscription but it certainly seems like the people I play against do in the evening at 7pm.

I think the hit detection us ok it's just the game itself, suffers frame rate dropping out issues,Baz boom Zen and played and it's was awful frame rate issues,so you could shot with good hit detection, but the frame drops out and you then get hit markers sometimes due to this latest issue.

Everyone's experience's will vary with the games and was just expressing what my experience's are.

I know people that have zero issues with BO3 I'm just not one of them, steadily downhill for me.

It certainly seemed fine when I joined that game late and couldn't find any kills because you were on my team going 45-1 ;) BO3 seems a lot better in the morning. Not sure why because you'd think there'd be less locals online, but it's much better at 8am than 8pm when record numbers of middle east players get online and connect to EU servers.

I'm moving to BT in the next couple of weeks, hopefully that will help make this broken game a little more enjoyable :)

Are the perks totally broken now? i use flak jacket and hcxd's blow me up, i use ghost and i show on radar even when im moving, i use hard wired and players with traker follow my foot prints (suppose to reduce foot print trail but doesn't), they have seriously buggered this game to the point of no return.

Even a uav is useless in some lobbies as the laggy players are not where the uav shows.

How is it possible for 1-2 bar players to top lobbey, ping is king? only on cod hahaha

One of the reasons the XB1 and PS4 may be struggling with dropped frames is because of the weak AMD APU both consoles use.

On the PC version of BO3, there is a parameter that lists the following in the player.ini file:

//0 use two threads, one thread update frame N while the second render N-1. 1 concatenate update and render. 2 concatenate update render and frame presentation.
//0 is the default for the best performance, 1 and 2 improve latency but require a powerful CPU.
SerializeRender = "0" // 0 to 2

I manually edited this to "2" because I have an i7 4790 Quad Core 4.0GHz CPU.

However, the AMD APU both consoles use clocks in at around 1.6GHz, which is significantly slower. Thus, this may be why it can't process and render the frames more accurately if the default setting is "0" and meant for weaker processors? It would also explain a ton of other things as well, but the latest being the game dropping frames on both consoles since the last update?

I've been wondering for a long time if the Xbox is clinging on with barely enough power, but this frame-rate issue has only recently reared it's head so I would have thought it related to updates more than a shortage of processing power (I still believe there's is a shortage though).
