Damn i can't believe i forgot...Grandma's Boy.

That's about a video game development studio and it's crew (testers),and it makes me wonder if the duma studio is run like like brain nasium.I think it's funny as hell and given the fact that this question is on this forum,it should have been my first choice.

Definately one of my all time comedy favs!

Kung fu hustle (Cantonese version, subtitled)

House of flying daggers

And far too many others:

Dazed and confused

True romance

Contact (my guilty pleasure film)

Oh I would have to go through my media center....

So, I guess I am unclear as to the application here.  Are these three movies we have on a deserted island sort of thing, or is this a "when this movie is on TV, I stop surfing and have to watch" sort of thing?

I'm a HUGE movie fan, so I just want to submit the right list.  :D

Dillinger you're correct about the right list. Some films you HAVE to watch if they are on tv. If godfather is on, damn it there goes my evening

Movies I am willing to sit through, commercials and all, or movies on TV I simply MUST watch

Shawshank Redemption (1994) - Even on free TV, with all the US censorship, this is still a great movie.

Last of the Mohicans (1992) - This is a long watch, but a great movie and a piece of work by Michael Mann that he doesn't normally get credit for directing.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) - A great revenge tail, but that unveil, when he comes down in what I presume is supposed to be one of the Montgolfier Brother's first balloons is EPIC.  Lots of pomp and circumstance, the Cirque de Solae acrobats are there, and he gets off the balloon and is like "Greetings....."  Love that!
