MrWhooz
Getting lag even with CC enabled. I've tried 70/70 60/60 50/50 with both the preemptive and reactive algorithms. I have also tried factory resetting. I know its not a internet line issue because I've tested through the internet diagnostic and i've also looked at my modem logs. Could anyone shine any light on this issue???
UK_Wildcats_Fans
What is your bandwidth? Who is your internet provider and type of connection (i.e. cable, fiber, dsl)? Are the devices wired or using wifi? Are you getting good speed test results? Are they lagging when the console is off or when in use? Fraser's normal response below. Also you haven't mentioned your speeds so we don't know exact settings to give you, however: Reactive Algorithm (if above 60mbps) 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode (if above ~120mbps) Enable super turbo mode (if above 300mbps) Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC
Zennon
I remember remote accessing your device a while back to view your jitter and I tested preemtive and reactive, reactive calmed it right down.
PharmDawgg
Make sure in your setup all your devices are connected to/go through to the R1 for congestion control to be fully effective as well.
MrWhooz
Internet Provider:Timewarner Cable Anti Flood: 70/70 Share Excess: Enabled Ivp6:Disabled Deep Packet Processing: If i disable this will i still be able to use Hyper Lane? Internet Speed: 30/5 (@UK WILDCAT FANS @Zennon i remember you accessing my modem, but since then i have upgraded my speeds (and my isp gave me a new modem). @Buck- Im 99% positive each device goes through the netduma. I truthfully this the modem is the problem, its a Arris tg1167 or something like that.

UK_Wildcats_Fans
Disable deep packet processing. It is not needed for console gaming. With it disabled, you can still use hyper lane. What is the new modem?
MrWhooz
Disabled it and here is the modem. antithesis
Are you on console or PC? Is Hyper-traffic enabled? What's your Up/Down ISP speeds? I typically have a Twitch stream running, torrents downloading and a browser window up to watch YouTube videos between rounds or while playing PvE. None of them impact my console gaming. The only thing that messed me up on one occasion was backing up data to the cloud, but Congestion Control sorted that out. For what it's worth, I'm on 120Mbps down, 2.5Mbps up, but it's throttled to 85% down / 65% up on the R1. Obviously the fatter the pipe, the more you can cram through it without other stuff affecting your gaming.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 29, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 29, 2016 These applications, are you running them through the console itself? As hyper traffic is meant for low latency traffic so that could have an adverse effect. Disable it if that is the case.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 31, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 31, 2016 I would double check that they are not automatically connecting to the ISP hub, disable the WiFi on it to prevent that. Also make sure the ethernet cable between the hub & duma are not loose.
