Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted July 11, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted July 11, 2016 Destiny servers work in a particular way; we'd recommend using the Destiny profile when playing it. You should however be alright if you have strict mode disabled.

frustrated Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Hi, have no issues with duma on Destiny, keep strict unticked ping assist set at zero, yes destiny has issue that's a known comment, but duma defo helps limit the lag. But yes use the destiny profile but you might need to mod it a little.

Do you see the same issue with the Geo-filter disabled?

frustrated Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I have noticed sometime the geo seems to let in some Usa ids when in matchmaking, which causes a few red bars, never note them down as not really a problem, as the matchmaking on Destiny's net coding is awful but do see it. But always play with geo on. Just a update nothing more. Regards.

But always play with geo on. Just a update nothing more. Regards. Destiny works on a hybrid system. When it allows people outside your radius it is because they make them connect to a dedicated server so they can connect to you. This is why strict needs to be off as you'll get booted if you're blocking the server and they're forcing someone to connect to it. In theory though you should still have a great connection as everything you're connected to is close.
