DARK BAWGS Posted February 22, 2016 Share Posted February 22, 2016 Well after hours, days, weeks, months and years - OK I exaggerate! I finally earned Diamond on the AR's. I know, for most of you. that is no big deal as you trudge along for Dark Matter, but for me it is a big deal as it takes me so long. I never thought I would be able to do it. I am really pleased and feel like I finally accomplished something in this darn game! I must be a masochist since I will now try to do the same with the SMG's; I have the Razorback at Gold and it was a brute which stressed my patience to the limit. My play style (if I really have a style) is not conducive to a "run'n gun" game play which I believe you must do with the SMG's. Well wish me luck! Since I finished the AR's I will now Prestige to level 3 as well, like I don't have enough frustration in my "gaming" life! I know you probably don't really care about this but I felt I should "report in" since so many of you have helped me along the way. As always thanks! I was looking through my AR list just last night to see what I had left and the list is pretty lengthy as I have just barely cracked the seal on using the Shiva. Keep up the grind man. In HC on TDM my k/d went from 1.02 down to .90 and my SPM went from 122 down to 111! I suspect they will go down even further as I try to move the SMG along. Why do I put myself through such "Agony and Ecstasy" I am really beginning to question whether or not I am getting senile! OH well it is a love hate relationship - I just love to hate this game! I did have to slow down and take every headshot I could (if I walked up on someone aiming down their sights I popped a headshot instead of a C4, that took willpower). Maybe I got too used to how smooth the AR'S were when I was getting them diamond? im currently on smgs and its a totally different play style, with ar's you move around the map not affraid to expose yourself to the long lines of sight cause the longer engagments are the ar's bread and butter but the smgs struggle at longer ranges altho you can still outshoot and pick off the odd noob when you need to but normally you should stick to smaller parts of the map trying not to expose yourself to long engagements, smg's are for a more aggressive playstyle but that dont mean run at enemies like headless chicken but instead hug the walls move cover to cover and try to always have a place to retreat to if you bite of more than you can chew cause its very easy to kill one move forward kill another move forward and another move forward etc and before you know it your in thir spawn and they are all charging towards you which often gets you killed but if you have the better cover and the control then you can really clean up and get alot of kills especially if you can control the situation and get your self prepared with specialist weapon in hand Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OH well it is a love hate relationship - I just love to hate this game! Wait till you go golden on the LMGs especially the Gorgon. You'll hate the gun more than the Sheiva! Then it is on to the last three, which I am told are the most difficult - is this true? Thanks to everyone for all the encouragement. Don't worry I sure as hell won't be doing any DM videos!
