Monzo Posted February 20, 2016 Share Posted February 20, 2016 It seems like i've been getting into games lately that seem to have bad connection and it seems like theres always a team or whatever you wanna call it that destroys my entire team. It's very hard to kill people now and the lag is just unbearable and the lag compensation is causing me to lose most of my gunfights. There's no specific setting to try and fix this. Does anybody have an exact idea to how and why this is happening? Because all over youtube they are saying that with the new DLC update, they brought it back into the game. Does anyone agree? I'm a 150 master prestige and I have a 130 SPM 2.9k/d and 5.0 w/l... When my friend and I with similar stats try to find a game we get matched with the most try hard party of 6 people in the world and I get morons on my team. What you are experiencing can be explained logically. Usually casual players do not buy DLC. It's usually only competitive or tryhards. So again, SBMM has got to be in it Who said anything anything about PS4 or Xbox? there are still a ton of xbox fanboys including yourself who never converted to PS4 after the Sony/Activision early DLC contract. SBMM does not exist in Black Ops 3 no matter which console or computer version you play. You can believe it or not, but it's true. Even though there has been sbmm in previous cods, there is always a batch of people complaining about sbmm after the first DLC launch. Connection on the game has totally gone to pot recently, when the game first came out i used to get lobbies with everyone on 4 bars now they will at least be 3 or 4 2 or 1 bar playing skipping across the screen. My brother tested this out with his other new account, and he's 500spm and 5.2kd TDM in that one (I think around 500 kills total?) but doesn't have the DLC on there and plays against more noobs, has a lot more matches it finds and joins quicker according to him. I'm 430spm 4.3kd with DLC and I come across tryhards and noobs, but with DLC even the noobs seem to play it smarter. You have to remember that the people who buy the DLC will probably take the game more seriously no matter their skill level. I don't think there is SBMM, but I have felt something similar after the latest DLC patch and the hotfix about two months ago with affects lasting for a day, but it goes back to normal after that. I guess the only way you can circumvent using the DLC is to party with someone who doesn't own it. You aren't forever screwed. I am sure someone will find a way or Treyarch may do something to address this. Maybe make an option in the game to disable the DLC Map packs. Its possible. Do you have the DLC? That isn't SBMM. That has existed for many cods. SBMM from many previous COD releases will put you in lobbies with other similar skilled players based on what the games creator designates as skill(IE, SPM). You aren't doing well because if you were being put into games based on your low SPM, then you would be doing good. Are you reading your own words? There is no SBMM, but think whatever helps you sleep at night. Know this, the only thing you can do to better your experience is to get better or party with better players to boost you.
