Any adapter with specifications such as 100-240V, 50-60Hz; Output: 12V, 1000mA just look for 12V adapter on amazon/whatever site u prefer should find one easily you can also use with with higher ma shouldn't be much of an issue Just make sure that the output is not above 12V if so it has a potential chance to damage the router over time etc

LMAO THIS IS WHY GEN Z IS SO CUTE In theory it is possible but would be inconvenient if the the software is unstable and cause issues why do you think other routers don't have such features not only that I believe they can't do much about it do to how it was designed. I would argue it is possible for the next generation router but would have to have different leds so it not confusing if you have multiple lan ports connected. Which is a waste as well since it adds in cost and no one would even care about it for the most part I mean I hate looking at led lights unless your a blue/pink hair geek fanatic then I'd say make ur custom router might have more fun doing so can make it rainbow colors just as your hair lmao.

They do in traffic prioritization bar if you mean physically that just dumb idea
-
Also making a report on an issue on device manager XR1000V1 I noticed that it has issues when deleting a device and if it attached to traffic prioritization it will just give you an error device cannot be found and then loads indefinitely only fix is hard resetting in my case. Then there the device is online and offline cannot delete etc.

Quick question does XR1000 have CLOSED BETAS ONLY? Since looking at the forums seems to be the case unless am wrong....
-
Hello so what are the differences and does this means updates are going to be delayed do to different versions?
-
I believe it just integrated AI from what the video stated so it means that if it recognizes a game port that you use often it opens it up though might be incorrect on that just a theory and it wouldn't be perfect since it AI it learns over time. You could say it helps for those who are not too tech savy into looking for game ports and putting them manually etc -.-

The only turn around I found to not have packet loss when gaming is by classifying the device as a games console and applying to wan since I have no control over reserving bandwidth for the device since bandwidth allocation clearly doesn't work the way it intended for the xr1000. It night and day difference just do speed test on a device without it and it packet loss every time it reaches over the bandwidth limit which you can do when speed test for 2 secs or if downloading files from a device etc.

Waveform is not accurate I'd suggest just running ping plotter test since you get the best data however it is a bit time consuming and you have to understand how it works just a tip of advice if you do and your trying to see hops and some show red coming from ISP it just the fact they don't allow packet to pass back and forth etc just do to ddos. All you need to pay attention is last hop when your looking at the performance and they're might be jitter spikes which is common about 30-40ms all depends on your network.

I would recommend using the mobile app it just faster instead of having to pull up laptop/pc if your a console gamer. As for chats on Xbox can't say much I am ps user you'll still have to manually whitelist players that join party chat depending on your geofilter settings range.
-
Just a tip of advice you should probably make a sub forum called beta testers for betas for all routers and name each one script policy etc to simplify how you would apply. Not trying to boss around it just make life much easier
-
Applied so what now do I get a file email or something?

You can't avoid sbmm in cods the better you are the worst the servers become similar to apex legends. They focus all high ranked players to one server location and expect all of them to live on the same area. Like I can be playing 20ms and because I beat my wonker so much I now have to play 100ms. Unless you play on casual bot lobbies which i refer to as scrubs and that playing on console being forced to play with PC fags 3x faster input no cap.
-
Is the beta open for testing if so id like to be added.
-
If you have that error I suggest re-syncing cloud and/or rebooting router and if it persist hard reset
-
Sad reality your probably being forced with sbmm you’ll get melted regardless lmao new cods all suck that a fact bad audio etc
-
Buddy that depends on your setup on qos also I wouldn't connect the nighthawk app because it actually causes issues with dumaos and will have to do a hard reset to fix ironic id say to be best you sound like you basically want to see your speeds without qos. Though your speeds might be different do to the server they're being connected to I would just run a pingplotter test to find the most optimal ping while on qos. I am ping geek and and the worst of your enemies is jitter that just do to crappy isp that i live next around and monopoly is a thing. DUMA uses m labs as theyre test so it might be connecting you to a further server other times also I wouldn't be trying to find or adjust the qos based on the scheduled test because those aren't accurate for the most part they have some issues with the data.

Hello just checking if xr1000 beta test is out yet if not I'd like to be added for the testing.

XR1000 Can't connect to software
DARKNESS replied to JediK's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What firmware u on? I'd suggest not using the netgear app if you are it basically messes up with the router from my experience just manually do it just from dumaos software and do hard reset when doing so this is do to netduma and netgear relationship clearly being so great that issues like this happen they probably wont admit it but it known. -
Hard reset and try again regardless of that if you are using mobile version use desktop mode and change the scaling so that it adjust properly depending on the phone u use it might not work properly which is why you use a desktop/pc. Also if it let you access the the site on mobile device it should also let you use the desktop you might not be refreshing the browser cache. You might also need to type ip for router manually sometimes it bugs out after reboot don't ask me why but that sometimes a thing.

If I were u I'd turn off mirror settings and just have both 2.4 and 5 GHz separately Ive noticed actually let me rephrase Ive known this channel thing been an issue for a while depending on the devices you use it may or not be compatible and then depending on your surrounding it may also have an affect. Also changing frequency should just do a boot u sequence id suggest reinstalling the firmware and hard resetting and maybe even plug and unplug router to refresh cache for 5 minutes. I can tell u it a nuisance but that the best advice I can give you can also just downgrade to version of firmware all u do is download the file and apply to were it says update again and remember to always hard reset after updating that means holding the reset button for 30 secs.
