@l2eactionz Thanks for the feedback! We're aware of the issue with QoS not fully resetting during a reset, we're working on this!

    Hello zippy
I've had this issue with connection benchmark all the way through 104 108 and 114. Qos is working as testing on dslreports and ping plotter shows that. I think its connection benchmark mine also just shows the same result no matter what settings I change the underload graph comes back with the same results same squiggly lines in the same exact place lol.
I also notice that after a firmware update or factory reset the qos page is the only page that DOES NOT RESET PROPERLY. It will show your previous setup as if you didn't factory reset. For example if I set my speed 74 down 18 up sliders on 70% always on. And the do a factory reset. I will go through all the set up features like new admin password wifi name and password and the checking Internet connection and speed message pop up. Which it says no connection detected due to being on sky and having to set up the option61 admin password. Before qos is set up we know by default it's set to 1gb down 1gb up cc never and qos on. When  I go to the page it will show all previous settings even after the reset HOWEVER the settings shown do not translate because the settings will show 74 down 18up cc always on. Then when I go to connection benchmark and run a test it will show my line speed as 74 out of 1gb rather than 74/74mb and 18 out of 1gb rather than 18/18......

So the simple fix I found for qos after a factory reset is to understand the settings being displayed are not actually working and are not what the router is out putting. The simple fix is to turn never to always on and then never again change the speeds to your actual broadband speeds again. Even though it will be showing those speeds you must enter them again as qos is still running 1gb down and up then turn qos of and on again.
That is the best way I've found for qos to be working and showing the correct settings after a factory reset. Hope this helps in some way for more testing

    Cheers guys!!!

Ah okay so warzone I don't need to worry about. I connect to peers and have been blocking them thinking its bad and only allowing the dedicated server lol thank you

l2eactionz got a reaction from Hungovermonty in how to force into lower skill lobbies
I'm also in the UK using sky vdsl 75 down/ 20 up. I get 74 down 18 up. My cabinet is literally just down stairs and 2 houses down lol.
My ping and jitter is always really good I'm wired and using a playstation 5
I've set my geo filter with a radius just in the UK there is a peer and dedicated server towards the bottom of the UK so I only ever connect to them. But be warned these are actually high skilled servers from my testing yes you can still get low lobbies but I'm diamond on everything and always get diamond lobbies while connecting to the UK server/peer. If I open my geo filter to eu I get more platinum in there and an occasional gold if I'm lucky lol. For me keeping it to the UK and denying the peers while allowing the dedicated server gives me the best understanding of my other settings I change from there on. By connecting to the same server and only that server I can try the qos upnp and other options knowing I'm on the same server each time. That has helped big time.
I have qos set to always 95%download 90%upload I don't change the sliders as I turn off the share excess bandwidth. I then give things like my tv a chunk and laptop and then limit my mobile as I'm always on 5g anyway and then give the playstation around 1mb as long as it doesn't make me lag due to the speeds being too low. If your on an older console try 2.5mb down and 1 to 2mb up. I set my partners up on xbox and she couldn't actually load into a game I changed it to 2.5mb and she was good to go

Have 2 Networks, need to connect them.
Why -> buisness Network and private Network.
Just before you ask me -> No its not possible to have all in one Network.
I'm curious how you will fix this without firewall options .... waiting for response

We don't have any particular recommendations for VPNs. It depends which one you use - we have basic setup compatibility with HideMyAss and PureVPN - so you enter your username/password the provider has given you and select the server country and location. If you want to use another provider you would obtain the configuration file for the particular server you want and enter that into the router.

Exactly the same thing with me. I had a DSL connection with 10mb download and 1mb upload and a ping of 30ms and I used to be on top of the lobby with a KD of 3.
Ever since I switched to a 1gb optic fiber with a ping of 1ms, it feels like i'm playing hardcore. instant deaths, ghost bullets, and playing 2 seconds behind everyone else.
I even see my teammates shooting at a target before i get to see him. thought i was going nuts.

    Thanks for posting!
Prioritising any port will bypass QoS, because you are essentially defining traffic on that port as 'High priority' traffic, and therefore telling QoS not to limit bandwidth to that port.

How were you factory resetting each time? I believe it's an issue still and I've asked a colleague to test it.

Well currently beta 114 does seem to be the most stable. Except connection benchmark that never changes no matter what settings you change. On 104 the connection benchmark worked for 3 tests and the ping underload was alot better but then I never managed to complete another one lol even after today factory resetting by the pin connection benchmark froze. So I'm back on 114 as it is definitely the most stable. Just a shame I can't tweak the settings through that and relying on dslreports bufferbloat for now

Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into that reset issue and see if I can replicate it then pass it over to the team!
Where are you seeing that the PS is bypassing QoS? What is indicating this?

So it has resolved the ui holding onto information like in the qos after factory resetting from system I'd go back onto qos and see my speeds and sliders where they previously was even after a reset. But the same issue applies on beta 104. Connection benchmark mark just will not run a test no matter what I do
