  1. Which firmware are you running on the R2? Can you provide a full page screenshot of Adblocker so we can see if there's any other configuration changes you may need to make?
  2. This is an issue NETGEAR are aware of, but it may still be worth you creating a new topic so we can dive into your issue a little deeper and see if we can diagnose it the same, or if there's anything different that may hint to the cause of the issue.
  3. Can you provide a screenshot of how you've got QoS configured currently? I'm sure we can find a solution to this. We use a proprietary algorithm designed in-house over the years.
  4. Glad to hear it. We've made the team aware of some issues with Timezones so they'll be looking into that and fixing it. Let us know if you run into any other problems!
  5. It looks like your network speeds aren't set correctly in DumaOS, go to the three-line menu in Congestion Control and use Set Bandwidth Speeds to set them correctly. Just to clarify, the problem you're having is that when downloading an update through Battle.net, other devices on the network are struggling? Is that correct?
  6. OK that's good to hear, thanks for letting us know. Do reach out again if you experience any further issues.
  7. Are the speeds from speedtest.net the same as Connection Benchmark now? Can you provide a screenshot of how you've got QoS setup now?
  8. Is this occurring all the time or does the issue appear intermittent? Do you have Share Excess enabled in Bandwidth Allocation? You can see this from the three-line menu in the Bandwidth Allocation panel. If not, can you please enable it. If you set Congestion control to Never, rather than fully disabling it, do you then also get full speeds?
  9. To get setup with Geo-filter, you can follow the below guide: https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter Similarly, there's a guide for Hybrid VPN too: https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000087492--dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-hybrid-vpn Gaming over a VPN will add latency, similarly, forcing a distant server will also increase latency massively. This will result in a very poor gaming experience. The best thing to do is to avoid routing game traffic through the VPN and ensure you're connecting to a low ping, local server with Geo-filter.
  10. We've had a lot of problems getting the XR500 on 3.2. The reason testing is taking so long is because it's not just testing, we've found a couple of big bugs, had to debug them, send patches/fixes to NETGEAR, then when we get a firmware back with that fix we are able to test deeper and uncover new issues. We're now waiting on an updated build with some new fixes to continue testing, we'll update the progress page accordingly today.
  11. Last I checked, you should still be able to filter which of the SDR servers you connect to. This may be slightly different from the actual game server, but it should be close enough. If you set your filter area for Western Europe, it would make sense that you're unable to connect to a US server, unless I've misunderstood you there?
  12. That could be due to some variation in the test servers, what if you run a test through speedtest.net? What speeds do you get then?
  13. I'd suggest signing up for the Early Access beta as Fraser mentioned, you can then try a newer firmware with bug fixes.
  15. Could you instead try leaving filtering mode enabled, and just disable Auto-ping. Then, when he tries to join, watch for a 'Blocked' icon appearing on the map, click on it and manually allow it. Your friend should then be able to join in and you should be able to also use Geo-filter for you game. Let me know how you get on with that.
  16. I've checked the Ping Heatmap cloud myself and can see that there's a lot missing. I've notified the team of this and they'll be updating it today. Later on, please try re-syncing your cloud again and the team should have pushed an update, it should all be looking better for you after that.
  17. Could you first please try going to the three-line menu in the top left of the Ping Heatmap panel and Resync the cloud? Check after that if more servers are showing. If you run a connection benchmark test, do you get similar results to what you were seeing before the new modem?
  18. Could you clarify which router you're using exactly? You've posted in the R2 forum but your account says you have an XR300. Which username and password isn't being recognised exactly? Are you referring to the Wi-Fi credentials? Can you connect a device directly to the DumaOS router via an ethernet cable and try accessing the interface that way?
  19. Unfortunately I don't believe there's any way to get DumaOS back on the old R1 units that doesn't take place internally here at HQ. You could try sending an email over to [email protected] and explain the situation there, we'll discuss it with the team and see if there's anything that can be done.
  20. I would think the firmware updates are a coincidence, it looks as though we just haven't updated the cloud. I'll get on the team to do that ASAP.
  21. If you add your Xbox to Geo-filter, but select "Choose manually" when prompted to pick a service, it'll then automatically filter any games you play, including Destiny. Let us know if you need anything else!
  22. That's pretty good but I'd hope to see it in the 900mbit/s range. The hardware is only gigabit so that's about the max you'd get. If you run a test through speedtest.net, do you get the same speeds you see in Connection Benchmark?
  23. Welcome to the forum! That initially suggests an issue with the config file/your credentials for authentication. A way to verify this would be to download the OpenVPN client for Desktop and try connecting to the VPN using the same config file and credentials. Let us know if that's working or if you're having the same issue.
  24. Can you try a different LAN cable from the R2 to the device you're watching YouTube on? If Wi-Fi is fine, it suggest we may just be dealing with a fault cable here.
  25. Could you also please try following this guide, it should help: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000076586-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-maximum-bandwidth-speeds
