  1. @zuhloobie Glad your getting things all sorted out and working.. Btw I think your the first ive seen that keeps all your equipment all nice and tidy on a shelf like that.. I was like holy crap! Very nice the way you have yours all laid out! 👍 Top notch! Thanks! Zippy.
  2. You do NOT want your PC in the DMZ.. What Fraser was referring to was the R3 should be put into the DMZ of your modem/router.. Not your PC.. Take your PC out of the DMZ and Fraser can help you more tomorrow.. Thanks! Zippy.
  3. Good job @zuhloobie Looks like your getting things sorted out! You will be a master at this in no time! Thanks! Zippy.
  4. Your totally welcome! I think thats a good idea/plan! Thats what id suggest as well.. Just so this doesnt get all mixed up. Always here to help when I can.. Thanks! Zippy.
  5. @zuhloobie I just dont want to confuse you on this matter.. Basically theres commonly two ways one can do this.. One would be to use what you are now which is Bridge Mode and have Fraser help you more.. The other way would be to put back your Century Link into router mode and then put the R3 in the DMZ feature of your Century Link router.. Basically what like you did with a console but this time it would be the R3.. Those are your two options.. If you want to hear back from Fraser first and go from there that will work.. He will be back tomorrow to further help you Either way we will try to get to the bottom of your disconnects So no worries.. I will check in on how things are going for you! Thanks! Zippy.
  6. I have Spectrum as well.. And my Download Speeds have dropped as well.. Im at 90mbps.. A little better then you but not by much.. I do believe this is an issue with the R3 atm.. Because if I factory reset the R3 and not touch a thing my speeds will be back to normal.. My Speeds are 350 Down and 12 Up.. You can also try factory resetting your router and see if your download speeds come back as well if you want.. But I do believe once the next firmware is out it should help us in this matter.. Hope this helps! Feel free to try what you want and see what results you can get to recover your download speeds.. Out of curiosity whats the model of your modem? I always like to see what everyone is using.. Thanks! Zippy.
  7. That is why you cant select port 3074.. Your brothers Xbox got the lucky port! Unfortunately two consoles can not share the same port.. If you check your brother Xbox what port does it say its using? Thanks! Zippy.
  8. Hey zuhloobie, I do have a question for you.. Are you still currently in Bridge mode? Im not sure one can reserve an IP when in bridge mode.. If you are having connectivity issues in Bridge Mode you can also try to put it back to router mode and then set the R3 in the DMZ feature of your Century link router. If you need further assistance just post back and we can help you along the way. Thanks! Zippy.
  9. How tremendously has your download dropped? What are the speeds your paying for and what are your speeds that you are getting now that have dropped? Im in the US as well.. Just out of curiosity who is your ISP.. Thanks! Zippy.
  10. What platform are you playing on? Thanks! Zippy.
  11. Go into Settings>Troubleshooting>Advanced. There you will see System Logs.. Hopefully that will help you! Thanks! Zippy.
  12. When you go into your Xbox and look in Network settings and go to Advanced.. Towards the bottom what port are you seeing being used on your Xbox? Thanks! Zippy.
  13. Hello @zuhloobie When you lose connection do you happen to notice anything in your logs of the R3? Any DHCP renew or release type thing? It might be helpful for you to post a log of your R3 to help troubleshoot your issues.. Its likely with you disconnecting on and off that likely can cause your Geo to start to fail.. I was also going to ask if you were on the latest firmware.. Which now sounds like you are.. Are you seeing 4.0.23 now on your router? If you are now on the latest firmware keep us posted on how things are going.. Thanks! Zippy.. I will also tag @Netduma Fraser here for you to give you further assistance if needed..
  14. I would try bridge mode like @SP_25 has mentioned.. I think you only need to enable one LAN port.. The one you will plug the R3 into Then select the Vlan id number your ISP uses in this case.. Im sure if you googled that you will find what Vlan Id number your ISP uses.. There has to be examples of this floating around on the internet somewhere.. Google can be a good friend! Zippy.
  15. Thanks for the info! Im just trying to think of a work around for this until this can get looked into further.. You mentioned you have reserved the Xbox.. What I would try as a work around for the moment is take the Xbox out of the Reserved in the R3 and go into the Xbox and set a Static IP there instead.. But this time when you make this change pick an IP address that is outside of the DHCP range on the R3.. Example would be 192.168.77.50.. That would keep the Xbox out of the DHCP renew and release range.. This could be a DHCP issue at a guess of course.. Thats what I would try as a work around if you want to.. Its totally up to you.. You can try this as it is but typically though I would do a factory reset to the router then do this.. But if you do decide to do this make sure you set the Static IP on the Xbox first before resetting the router.. Otherwise you likely will have the same issue.. You can also quick try it now without factory resetting the router just to see if that gives you a better out come.. Again thats just what I would do.. This may or may not work.. Just trying to give you some options and help. Thanks! Zippy.
  16. Heres the thing.. There has to be a port that is being missed in port forwarding or something like that.. If you can get an Open NAT using the DMZ feature you should be able to get Open NAT using Port Forwarding.. Just by you putting your PC in the DMZ has kind of pointed that out now.. We just have to figure out what ports your missing.. Your not using the Xbox app on your computer to play this game are you by chance? The only reason I mention this is because you likely would have to port forward port 3544 as well in order to get an Open NAT.. Thanks! Zippy.
  17. Hey @DeeKay_FPS Ive even looked over this as well and dont know why its not working using port forwarding.. The thing about putting your PC in the DMZ is it exposes alot of possible risk.. If this is just a gaming PC one could possibly leave it like that.. But if you have any personal info on this PC like credit card info or anything at all I would not use DMZ at all.. Personally I wouldnt use the DMZ feature at all other then to do testing and trouble shooting.. Are you using like the Xbox live app on this PC to play games or anything else like that? Thanks! Zippy.
  18. Hey @therealzome Im trying to follow what you have going on here.. Heres my question.. If you fully shut down the Xbox and not the router do your downloads work okay then? In other words you would have to take the Xbox out of sleep mode and the Xbox would only download while its powered on.. Would your downloads work okay then out of sleep mode and the Xbox powered on? You likely would have to take the Xbox out of sleep mode prior to a download as im not sure this would work doing it on the fly! Thanks! Zippy.
  19. You will see alot of those in your logs like that if you have IPV6 disabled on your R3.. So in that type of scenario that is normal .. Hope that helps! Thanks! Zippy.
  20. Its a nice feature.. When selecting "Gaming" that covers a wider range of games.. When selecting a game specifically it targets just that game selected.. 👍 Thanks! Zippy.
  21. No worries! Here to help! Thanks! Zippy.
  22. Okay.. I use Waveform as well... Just make sure when your doing your BB tests that you set your CC to Always.. And then toggle Speed Test Bypass.. Go to Ping Optimizer advance settings for this.. You will see it there.. Then adjust your sliders accordingly to your results like on Waveform.. Hope this helps! Thanks! Heres a screenshot for an example.. This is just an example.. Do not set yours like mine..lol.. Zippy.
  23. Add everything back the way you had it.. So add gaming back and see if it prioritizes that again.. Gaming bypasses all CC/BufferBloat settings.. Thats normal.. Where are you testing your BB? If you have further issues or questions post back for further help. Thanks! Zippy.
  24. I play on the Xbox.. Usually most of my Activity shows MS.. I dont believe seeing Amazon on there is an issue.. But looking at your screenshot it shows that you currently dont have COD put in your high priorities.. Smart Boost will show all traffic.. Whats important is when its pickup as High Priority.. It will appear on the left part of your circle.. What do you currently have set for your Priorities? I will attach an example bellow.. Thanks! Zippy.
  25. Btw I just noticed that in your screenshot that your COD is not in a high priority.. What do you have added to your priorities? Make sure you have gaming or COD added to your priorities! A screenshot of this as well may help understand what you have. Zippy.
