For me the buffer bloat thing was blown way out of proportion and I wish I never brought up or had my name mentioned in the same breath. Bloat is when your connection is maxing out giving your line jitter so the only time it would be of any use is if you had a family member streaming or downloading at close to max of your bandwidth, which I need as my son streams. -

I am not disputing anything a good player is a good player no matter where you put the congestion control. Play on 70% and you will do just fine, put it on 20% again you will do fine. People are looking at your game play and other users game play and thinking its the % or the hard throttle it is not, it is the players tactics and reactions combined with their ISP connection non of which can be transferred by a setting apart from a close host and the reduction of local congestion by the duma. -

So putting the sliders to 97% has changed the game. Half of the community say throttle the rest saying give it just about max. Non of which affects ping [facepalm/] shrugs and moves on. -

I think I have been lucky sticking with Xbox as their servers are much better than Activisions going by the reports from users here, but i do not know the state of their ISP's jitter when they make these claims though. -

I am lucky to have no jitter on my line. I have played in the USA at 100ms and more and a friend of mine has played with me from the usa on the Irish server with no detriment. I have used net emulators to add latency and with bops 3 there is no difference if I add latency With older titles there is an issue I am a truthful fella and i wont lie. Bops 3 lag comp is perfect i find older titles not so. If people find bops 3 lag comp to be off look at you ISP's jitter before you blame the game. -

I get an open NAT using one xbox one, if I pull the Ethernet cable while the xbox is on then re attach it I get a strict NAT but when I search for games even with a tight Geo I find games quick so this must be a false positive on their side.
-
You have to be the host of the party lobby with the netduma geo-filter on and add your friends to the allow list by starting a private match and click on the circles and add them. http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=adding_friends_to_your_allow_list Then host the lobby and search for a multiplayer match.

The ping assist is for outside the filter the ping to host can be any range inside the geo-filter.
-
Setting the ping assist to 20 means if there is a host outside of your geo filter boundary it will let you connect. Inside your geo-filter the host can have any larceny at all , it should not be that high but if the server is overloaded then it could well be. I have been connecting to the south UK server and it is defiantly overloaded at times.

I had the mod NAT problem in the beta and a quick port forwarding sorted that out, I do not have PF enabled in the full release but I have an open NAT this time round, so they have changed something.
