That will be the reason then, QoS isn't fully supported in IPv6. It's on our roadmap to implement. If possible try disabling it, a user brought up an issue of the same result when just using VLAN (which we're looking into) so may not help
  2. ¿Tiene PPPoE, VLAN o IPv6 habilitado?
  3. We do but not a public one unfortunately
  4. Great to hear that! This has been a suggestion before so we may implement it in future
  5. Just upgraded to the same version on my home router, its under the mac, scroll down further if possible. If it's not there then you didnt upgrade properly it looks like
  6. It's a pre release of the next firmware so not publicly available yet. -- It's at the bottom of Internet Setup fuzzy
  7. Hey, welcome to the forum! I've sent you a PM with a firmware to upgrade to, you should see option 61 in Internet Setup.
  8. Hi JT, all you need to be focusing on is the graph. You're not having any packet loss and the ping looks very stable!
  9. It doesn't look like you were trying to saturate the network in these tests. If you don't then they'll look very similar as the network is idle
  10. Hi all, I have removed the last page or so of posts. We want to keep it civil here. I've also added [Opinions] to the topic title. Everyone looking for a new modem should also conduct their own research when making a decision. You should be certain of your decision before making a financial comittment. Also added this line to the original post.
  11. You're very welcome, we're sure you'll love it! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask
  12. Zennon's link works on my Mac.
  13. DumaOS is way more streamlined, easier to use, more robust and faster. Its easier to use while still having advanced options for those that like to tinker. QoS can be exclusively automatic if you would like it to be, automatically prioritising your consoles/games (using enterprise level deep packet inspection) and then applying Anti-Bufferbloat (Anti-Flood on R1) whenever this happens or giving full speed when not playing. The Dashboard provides a one stop customisable shop for your favourite features all sharing one screen where you can change settings on the fly without going to all the different features. More indepth Network Monitor, I could go on. Of course you have the Geo-Filter as well which I don't think I need to sell to you - it's the only feature of it's kind. Also DumaOS is an actual OS so that means we can build new features & fix bugs - VERY fast. We have only just started, there is so much we plan on adding to DumaOS that it's actually crazy.
  14. Great thanks a lot Zennon, this will be really helpful!
  15. Yep certainly looks that way. Disable proxy/vpn then try again.
  16. Can we all behave like adults please? This is a support forum to help people. Under my post I don't want anymore high school behaviour otherwise the ban hammer is going to make an appearance. If your post isn't about a modem I don't want to see it here.
  17. That's very nice of you, please do if they need further assistance
You need to have port 1 of the Netduma connected to port 1 of your existing modem/router. Then you can connect to the Netduma via ethernet cable to one of the other 4 remaining ethernet ports or via WiFi. Try again to access via 192.168.88.1 if that doesn't work try http://r1
  19. If that happens without the Geo-filter on then it acts like a normal router. Out of interest disable hyper traffic and turbo mode and see if it continues to occur.
  20. I see you started your own thread which I've just replied to.
  21. I'm good thank you, how about yourself? What I would do is have my location in Ukraine with the radius large enough to cover Ireland and Netherlands. Strict on & ping assist at 70ms. That way you know that if anything gets blocked it would've been a high ping, leaving you with only games in your radius or under your ping limit. You're also covered in case there is a mis located server as ping assist would pick it up. No you wouldn't get disconnected, once you're connected to them thats it - even if you were to block a person using deny & allow you would have to be disconnected from them for 2 minutes - it's our anti-cheat. Ping assist only handles the initial connection. So if you got disconnected it wouldn't have been due to ping assist. Of course make sure you're utilising congestion control at the same time for the most optimum experience possible.
  22. Not sure how blame lies with us for hardware that has nothing to do with us at all but okay. You say we pass the blame but most people wouldn't even know to look at ISP line issues if we hadn't introduced the Internet Diagnostics feature TO HELP people. We actively tell them to contact their ISP to try and get them to rectify the issue. If there are bugs then we acknowledge those but we're not going to sit back and say yes your ISP line issue is totally on us when the issue was there before our product was even purchased by them, we just helped bring it into the light. Regardless, thanks for your feedback. If you have any issues please make a support thread.
  23. I think you'll be fine with that. If a modem is causing spikes then you wouldn't have it with a different one when connected to the duma.
  24. Keep in mind, the R1 still works with those listed you just may get a better experience with those in the compatibility list. Some people use those in the non compatible list and have no issues.
