Hey guys, so with recent updates people are seeing NAT issues and being unable to connect to games. I believe this is due to server changes on the game/online service i.e. adding new ones, repurposing them etc. We are aware of this and actively working to resolve the situation. Meanwhile as a workaround have your console off, disable the Geo-filter, boot up the console & game and then enable the Geo-filter once you're in the menu and able to search. You should be able to filter as normal. Keep auto&bleeding edge cloud enabled and applied whilst you do this. I will be putting out test clouds for people to try - keep in mind it may take up to 4 hours to propagate. Please let me know if the issue is resolved depending on the cloud you're on. If you have this issue and willing to help please let me know if you are available for a 1 on 1 and it will vastly speed up the process. For test clouds disable auto&bleeding edge and choose numbers for Whitelist, Game server & Map manually. Please only choose these if you are aware that they may not resolve the issue but you are willing to help. Otherwise please use the workaround until we can fix it. Thank you for your patience. UPDATE: Please go back to auto&bleeding edge cloud and apply. This should fix any of the issues you were seeing. Please allow up to 4 hours for the cloud to propagate. 1st: 20 14 25 2nd 20 15 25 3rd 21 14 25 4th 21 15 25 UPDATE Here are two further clouds to try, remember it may take 4 hours to propagate. 22 16 25 I believe this one is what works the best: 22 17 25 Give me your feedback and if like me you found the latter to work I shall move it over to bleeding edge.

I believe you started your own thread with this question and I answered it there You can put it in the DMZ that is fine. Just ensure you connect ALL devices to the R1 to make the most of the features. Would recommend disabling the wifi on the Verizon to prevent devices automatically connecting to it.

Help us test games that YOU want to play!

Thanks for all the volunteers so far! Anyone else want to help out? -
Hey everyone, I have written a detailed guide that enables you to collect the needed IDs to help us support games. As it contains some sensitive information I will not be giving this out publicly or to a lot of people. I will list the games down here that I would like tested. Please comment with the games you personally want to help test. I will then pick people for each game on Monday for them to test it. They'll provide me with the IDs and I can update the cloud. New games: Battlefront Doom Division Overwatch RB6 Heroes of the Storm Double check compatibility: BO3 Destiny FIFA 16 Please refrain from commenting about any other games at the moment until we get these ones tested/supported if possible.

Ibrahim, please keep your issue/question isolated to one place. It is much easier for us to help you. As stated elsewhere un tick strict mode. I'll close this thread as it's quite old now.

Great ideas so far guys, keep them coming. If you don't have any ideas please do 'Like this' on peoples posts that you like. Don't feel like your ideas may be stupid as they won't be, we want to hear from as many of you as possible. -
The new Network Monitor won't just have live analysis but also historical analysis. So the question is: Why would YOU personally use the Network Monitor? What would you want included? To give you some ideas to start with: I want to know why my connection is slow right now - I want to see what device is hogging the bandwidth right now & why e.g. my son's laptop is torrenting. My ISP has given me a bandwidth cap - I want due warning via email, sms, whatsapp etc when I am near my limit, so I can change my usage. When I hit my cap I want proof that my ISP isn't lying to me - I want a history of my internet usage for the month. If you are confused then read this first: http://forum.netduma.com/topic/17376-software-development-lifecycle/

Software Development Lifecycle
Netduma Fraser posted a topic in Original Netduma R1 Firmware Support
With each subsystem we will come to you for feedback before we start development. This gives you the opportunity to put forth your ideas and potentially have them included in the new subsystem. For each new subsystem we will: Have a round one thread for general feature request open for 1 day. This will give you the opportunity to give your ideas for each subsystem. If you think a persons idea is good make sure to click 'Like' so we can assess demand. Have a round two thread where we will collect the ideas and ask specific details about them. After that development will commence. Please do not complain about the subsystem. We are doing it in order of what is best for development not what is most appealing. Please keep in mind we may use all/some/none of your ideas in the final product. -
If you're not aware we launched our new Knowledge base! This is a significant upgrade to our WiKi that we were using before. Some of the features it includes: A Google like search that shows suggested articles as you type A "Was this helpful" up/down vote system on each article Related articles Quick buttons to the most important parts of the knowledge base - Quick Start, Optimal Settings, Features, FAQs. You can check this out here. We would like your feedback on this. You will be the ones using it everyday so please let us know your thoughts. For example, specific guides you may want added etc.

Preliminary Lag Compensation Experiment Findings

Sure I'll ask -
Thanks Spartan, appreciate that! You do not specifically need a static IP/automatic IP in either scenario. Follow this for NAT http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=how_do_i_open_my_nat For game ensure you're using the destiny profile as well as using congestion control correctly - 70/70 anti-flood, console in hyper traffic.

Hey all, want to firstly thank everyone who took part in this experiment towards the end of February. We will be releasing a video on lag comp as soon as we've done our next myth buster. I know you guys have been asking about it so in the mean time here are some of the findings: Playing with added Jitter - When playing with jitter it is much harder to kill a player. Playing with added Latency - Your deaths are vastly increased. Being Host - There is definitely the phenomenon of "host advantage" as hosts perform better than non player hosts. There's a lot more analysis coming: packet loss, confidence etc and a lot more to come. You'll have to wait for the video. This may or may not confirm thoughts you've all had about it so far. It takes a lot of time to analyse the results & we'll be doing a much bigger reveal/analysis in the 3rd network myths video but just wanted to get something out for you guys.

Please read carefully before posting. Failure to do so will result in you being redirected to this post. Before posting a support thread: Look at our Wiki, most common questions are answered there. Includes more detail on specific features. You can find the wiki here. Search the forum for your question/issue as a solution may have already been posted. You can search by going here. After doing the above and your issue still remains please create a thread following this template. This will enable us to help you as quickly as possible. What firmware version are you on? (Check at bottom of any page on the R1. If lower than 1.03.6 please follow upgrade instructions here first). What speeds do you get from multiple speed tests? What is your current setup? E.g. ISP hub/modem (Specify model) > R1 > all devices What is your specific issue? (Provide as many details as possible. If it is a lag issue include the screenshots from here in your post) Any other information (such as settings you may have previously tried). Do not create multiple threads for your issue - they will be closed. Do not jump in on other peoples support threads. Thank you
