  1. Glad to hear you're enjoying it! Well answered by Newfie above. We specifically decided against WiFi 6 as we wanted to get DumaOS in the hands of as many people as possible on solid hardware, WiFi 6 would have significantly increased the cost and therefore contradicted that goal.
  2. We'll try and get you boosted up.
  3. That's great to hear, thanks so much for the feedback! Could you clarify a bit more about what didn't run when using Safari? If Apex ran well using Chrome then ports wouldn't affect it when using Safari.
  4. Ahh great news, do keep an eye on it though and let us know! That's interesting about the heat thank you, we'll need to take a look at that I think. Someone has requested already about dimming the lights so we'll discuss it. I'll feedback about the aerials as well and see if we can do something about that. I'll about themes and get back to you.
  5. We should have a firmware tomorrow for people experiencing issues so far so please try this when it is available to you.
  6. What happens when it doesn't apply at all, how do you know it's not applying etc. Glad you're enjoying it!
  7. Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciate your support! We have thought of accessories years ago, maybe we'll look into it again, thanks for the request.
  8. It's already in beta for the R1 and we're adding more people all the time. It really depends on how well the beta goes as to when we open up to everyone.
  9. Thank you we will look into that. Okay do keep us updated please.
  10. Spectating Mode: Does not restrict servers in any way, you will connect to whatever server the game wants you to. You can see servers/peers on the map and ping them. Filtering Mode: Restricts games based on your settings. Strict Mode enabled: Restricts both servers and peers to within your radius Strict Mode disabled: Restricts peers to within your radius but allows servers outside the radius By default Strict Mode is on to provide the most restrictive filtering.
  11. Thanks for the kind words! We'll try and get you boosted up the list.
  12. Hey, welcome to the forum! Yes it will be available for the XR300 and we do hope to have a beta version for it soon.
  13. We've discovered a bug with the DHCP MAC Cloning so we will be looking into that and then perhaps you can use your normal method after that's fixed but glad you had a workaround. That is amazing, really happy to hear you're enjoying it!
  14. They will email you regarding an invite. Sure will do that for you.
  15. As above, just to add a bit more information, strict mode off will allow some servers outside your radius to be allowed but will block peers outside your radius. Wouldn't suggest for anything other than Destiny.
  16. Yes all the features you have seen on the R2 will be available for the R1 as well!
  17. No WiFi 6 - our goal was to get DumaOS into the hands of as many people as possible. If we went with WiFi 6 that would have significantly increased the upgrade cost so we went for cheaper yet solid hardware that has AC WiFi and so still provides an upgrade for users of the R1. Sure, I'll try and get you bumped up the list.
  18. Thanks for letting us know and do keep us updated!
  19. Thank you, I've put you forth for both so hopefully you'll receive at least one soon.
  20. Ahh well done for figuring it out, I'm surprised it even worked to any extent that way but I'll make a note of that for future users. Keep us posted!
  21. Thanks a lot for confirming. We do have an open ticket for this so we will look into it - thankfully it's just an extra feature to help people and not essential to using QoS. That has been suggested before as well so we will consider adding that in the future. Glad you're enjoying it!
  22. We are doing multiple things simultaneously and the R1 is still being worked on. As we've said the R2 is optimized for DumaOS that's why it is available there, all other routers we need to port it to and that comes with its own issues. We will continue to add more users to the beta.
  23. This is something we're aware of and are looking into. Are you prioritizing for latency or bandwidth? What results do you get via benchmark using your usual settings? If it continues to come back with 0 for both latency and bandwidth then would recommend using the sliders manually for now and checking those settings with connection benchmark for now. Could you elaborate on the aspects of the router that don't seem to be working? It will help to do the settings Tray suggested for your NAT, if it's still not open we can take a look further.
  24. We can certainly look at that yes, thank you for the suggestion!
  25. What is your username on the Netgear community forum? Okay thank you, is this for the XR500 or the R1? Yes we would have received it, we'll try and get you boosted up the list.
