Black Ops 3 issues

Recommended Posts

This is the same for every game though. My NAT type is open, but my ping is all over the place. All game, every game. It'll go from 33 to 185 and back constantly. Or 65 to 220. It's nuts. Is this an issue that Netduma can fix with the proper settings, or is my internet just garbage? I pay for 50/5 but typically get 30/3.5 anymore.

We just gotta give the duma boys and the game devs a minute to sort things out, they are all working on things.

I / we have the same issues and it does suck ass, hang in there bro.

AH! Ok. That's good. I thought my crappy internet had struck again. lol. It used to be amazing. 50/5 at a time when 50 was a really fast speed. I typically pulled 45+ on downloads, and my uploads were even higher than I paid for. Typically 6.5 or so. Now I pay for 50/5 and barely get 30/3.5, and it sucks. I had 75/5 for a bit and it was useless. Still only pulled about 40/3.5 even with it.

Treyarch server issues, I have throttled my bandwith to where I play with 2mbps down and 5mbps up, I actually have 50/5.

I still get full bars even with that bandwith so its not your connection trust me.

Any lower than 2mbps down and you will lose audio while gaming.

If you are using congestion control and you are seeing ping's being so wild like that try a netduma network diagnostics test, off peak and on peak times and post the results here please.

You base ping is around ~50 but it doesn't seem to be fluctuating too much. Are you using congestion control to rule out local congestion?

Would advise 70/70 anti flood and prioritise console.

I give 80% of my bandwidth to my Xbox One.

Jeremy...where are your sliders at when your gaming ? Like Fraser said 70 on your download and 70 on your upload is a great place to start, and you can tweak from there.Try it out and see if it doesn't help stabilize things a bit.

Like Fraser say's the pings are on the high side but they are stable and not fluctuating.

You go to the congestion control tab press set bandwidth place your real world speed tested speeds in to the download and upload slot and press apply.

The set your sliders to 70% each way this gives head room on your connection so if there is local network streaming, downloading or web pages being opened etc by other users it will not create high fluctuating pings.

My Internet was set to 75/5 and I think that could cause issues because I've downgraded to 50/5 (and get the same crappy 30 Mb/s I got when paying for 75) so I'll see if that helps at all.

I have 60/4 speeds, so when I'm gaming I leave my upload at 100%, download is around 70%. Share excess unticked, and give my X1 around 60% of the bandwidth.
