You've made the right choice, it's the best router in existence.

I currently have the Linksys wrt3200acm and fiber 500 up and down and can get the gig speed.  I play modern warfare 3 and was wondering how much better it would be from the Linksys to the Netduma?

Can’t comment on the Linksys but can say the R3 can get speeds of -900/-900. I have AT&T fiber 1G/1G.

It's very hard to give you a definitive answer without knowing what kind of issues you're having or what problem you want to solve, if you let us know we can advise further.

This is my overall setup,  Linksys wrt3200acm with a Netgear wifi extender and I have my pc hooked up to the ethernet port of extender.  I compared both wifi from router and ping was 2-3 times higher compared to being hooked up to extender.  Also speed was around 100-150 mbps slower on wifi compared to wired to extender.  Now I can get their gb package which would be better off.  So more or less would be curious if wifi from Netduma would be stronger than Linksys,  which is only around 10ft away.  Also being I play modern warfare 3 multi-player I like the geofence that netduma has. I have sbmm off vpn and not impressed with it and geofence is limited and not as tight as Netduma offers.

WiFi is going to be worse speed/ping wise generally so that's something to keep in mind, if you want the best ping to the game you should try to be wired whenever possible. That being said the R3 WiFi is WiFi 6 so should be better than the model you have now.

Pretty much what I would be hoping for, better wifi speed and maybe lower ping especially with built in geofence. I know by upgrading my internet speed would help also, but just got on promotion for cheaper price for year. I know all I could do is try it and hope for the best, unless someone else had a similar setup and can say they seem quite a bit of improvement.
