Are you talking about the MW2 game in multiplayer?

I hadn't tried to play on this game for a while, a priori they improved the rendering of latency at the level of the game, or just a tip...

This is still good news for netduma because it is getting closer to the information given on dumaOS (auto ping)

On the server closest to me, I ping at 9ms on the geofiltre netduma auto ping and I ping on the game at 20ms in part...

This is not the case on "old" CODs +20ms ping in general compared to auto ping (on the latency given by the game on the server).

I understand the screenshot better!

Yes it is on MW2 multiplayer on warzone is about 25 -30

@Seye I don't know if the fiber module is built into your BT smarthub, but it might be worth bypassing it !

How do I check? Have got one of these on the wall.

I believe its BT for home use, I'm abit new to this how do I check if its broadcasting? Thisis what I can see on the admin login

There is no opt out of the free WiFi from the UI, can you see if it’s  broadcast if you use a WiFi analyser?

your other photo looks like an ONT, do you have the BT voip service ie. Home phone. If so if you don’t use their router you will not be able to have your home phone.

what’s the model number of the homehub?

Indeed it is an ONT:

There are different ways to bypass the ISP router with R2:

PPPoE identifier, dhcp option (60 ; 61) or even the Vlan ID.

You can see it in network setting at the Wan level.

I don't know how it is with your BT provider. But you can definitely find the information on Google...

As explained @Newfie, this will prevent you from using your fixed telephony because the R2 does not have asterisk or other software for bypassing the voice part. (Personally, I do not use it, the cell phone is sufficient)

For information, one thing that I also noted on the forum is that some users have noticed a drop in speeds with PPPoE. To confirm

Ditch the bt hub. Connect the Netduma directly to the ont

I have tried doing this but R2 doesn't connect to the internet.

You'll have to click WAN Setup then skip and enter the information you need in Settings

I honestly don't know the required information, do my ISP provide username and password?

Yes they would, otherwise you can find it in the hub settings

Searched the four corners of the internet 😂 for BT settings and found the settings on Sky forum, successfully connected via PPPoE

Is this BTs business router version as their home hubs don’t offer DMZ?

on the home hub they broadcast free WiFi, worth checking that’s disabled but I believe it still broadcasts but is hidden.

Opted out of the BT WIFI
